Hello, my dear Hivers!
Today, I’ll be sharing with you the day of our tree planting program.
When morning came, we didn’t head directly to the venue because the barangay hall was quite far inside the area. So, the plan was to gather first at the probation office and wait there for the service vehicle so we could all go together.
At around 9:00 AM, we were all at the office, the probation officers and us, the student interns. While waiting, our chief called the barangay captain to check where the vehicle was since we were running out of time. It turns out, the vehicle broke down on its way to pick us up, which caused the delay. Luckily, another vehicle was sent to fetch us.
At 9:44 AM, the vehicle finally arrived, but not all of us got in since our ma’am offered her car for some of us to ride in as there were still vacant seats. I was one of those who were riding with them.
When we were on our way, this scene was really beautiful, the roadside trees and plants. We also saw some animals, but the scenes were mostly greenery. The place was actually part of the mountain area.
On the way, ma’am forgot which turn we were supposed to take since there were many alleyways and it had been a while since she last visited. Thankfully, a person riding a motorcycle behind us, who happened to be someone under probation, guided us to the correct road.
About 15 minutes later, we arrived. Surprisingly, we got there before the others who took the service vehicle, even though we left later. I was wondering why they weren’t there yet, but we actually arrived ahead of them.
Here’s the view from the front of the car. There was a church or perhaps a small chapel, though I’m not quite sure.
And on the right side, the scenery was so green and clean, really refreshing to look at! The cold air made me even more excited for planting ahead tree. It was not very hot, the air was fresh, and the land was not too scarce ever since it did not rain.
Oh! I also saw a small mushroom on the ground, so I took a quick photo of it.
Shortly thereafter, we entered the covered court, which was very huge for a large number of probationers present. When we arrived, many people were already waiting, thinking that the program will start at 9:00 am. Unfortunately, the delay in transport reached us at 10:00 am.
A few minutes later, one of the barangay official approached Maam and suggested that we proceed with the planting of the first tree before Zumba because we were running out of time. Ma'am and all then agreed.

It's a very useful program to plant trees! Trees are so useful: they release oxygen, provide shade, and are a habitat for many small animals, such as birds and insects.
Absolutely! Trees truly do so much for us and the environment. I’m happy we got to be part of something that will benefit nature and future generations.

Yes! The road trip views were amazing, and seeing the trees grow healthy makes the effort so worth it. Hopefully, I can join more programs like this again, it’s such a refreshing experience! ❤️
it's a good program for your school to have a tree planting... to help the environment..because if our mountains have many trees,, disaster like floods and landslides can be prevented...😊
