I didn't always want to be a Flight Attendant but on a flight I started to realize the work of the Flight Attendants and I said to myself "hey, I could do that". After a few years, I decided to take the cabin crew course which lasted 4 months. As soon as I received the certificate and got the License and Medical Certificate, I didn't wait a day to start submitting resumes to all the airlines I could and after a few days I received a call from Avior Airlines for an interview and my excitement was mixed with the nerves of being up to the job.
Asisti a la entrevista junto con otros colegas que querian el cargo. Fui el primero en tener que ponerme de pies, presentarme y comenzar la entrevista la cual fue en español e ingles (cabe destacar que soy bilingüe). Todo salio excelente. Luego de una semana, me llaman para la segunda fase y no lo podia creer, luego para la tercera y recibo una llamada que seria la definitiva " Ha sido elegido para hacer el Curso Inicial en la aerolinea"... QUEEEEEE?? ESTO YA VA EN SERIO!!!
I attended the interview along with other colleagues who wanted the position. I was the first one to have to stand up, introduce myself and start the interview which was in Spanish and English (I am bilingual). Everything went excellent. After a week, they call me for the second phase and I couldn't believe it, then for the third phase and I receive a call that would be the definitive one: "You have been chosen to do the Initial Course in the airline".... WHAT? THIS IS SERIOUS!!!!
Comienza mi vida en los aviones y mi oficina a mas de 30.000 pies de altura!!
My life on airplanes and my office at 30,000 feet begins!!!
Tuve que mudarme de ciudad, ya que la aerolinea solo tenia base en Barcelona y Caracas. Comenzar desde 0 en una ciudad que no conocia pero que terminaria enamorandome. Comienzo los vuelos Nacionales e Internacionales, los nervios estaban presentes y al saber que todos los discursos para los pasajeros debian ser en español y en ingles, la presion tambien estaba presente. Al cabo de varios vuelos continuos, fui agarrando el ritmo y el gusto hasta quedar totalmente sumergido en ese mundo.
I had to move to another city, since the airline was only based in Barcelona and Caracas. Starting from 0 in a city that I did not know but that I would end up falling in love with. I started the National and International flights, the nerves were present and knowing that all the speeches for the passengers had to be in Spanish and English, the pressure was also present. After several continuous flights, I was catching the rhythm and the taste until I was totally immersed in that world.
Conocimiento general: Avior Airlines volaba a los siguientes destinos;
Nacionales: Valencia, Caracas, Maracaibo, Puerto Ordaz, Barinas y La Isla De Margarita.
Internacioneles: Medellin, Cali, Bogota, Aruba, Curazao, Panama, Guayaquil, Lima, Manaos y Miami.
Y todos los visite.
General knowledge: Avior Airlines flew to the following destinations;
Domestic: Valencia, Caracas, Maracaibo, Puerto Ordaz, Barinas and Margarita Island.
International: Medellin, Cali, Bogota, Aruba, Curacao, Panama, Guayaquil, Lima, Manaus and Miami.
And all of them visit.

Ser Tripulante de Cabina es una mezcla entre confort y seguridad desde que los pasajeros embarcan al avion hasta que desembarcan y somos muy buenos haciendo nuestro trabajo pero eso no evito que la pasaramos bien entre nosotros y muchas veces incluiamos a los pasajeros. Recibi muchas felicitaciones y halagos provinientes de los pasajeros ya que soy una persona muy alegre sin importar las circunstancias, ellos son los verdaderos jueces de nuestro trabajo y siempre seran los reyes y reinas del mundo de la aviacion.
Being a Cabin Crewmember is a mix between comfort and safety from the moment the passengers board the plane until they disembark and we are very good at doing our job but that did not prevent us from having a good time with each other and many times we included the passengers. I received many compliments from the passengers as I am a very cheerful person no matter the circumstances, they are the true judges of our work and will always be the kings and queens of the aviation world.
Nuestra vida es Casa-Aeropuerto-Hotel y Hotel-Aeropuerto-Casa, la mayoria de las festividades las pasamos en las alturas asi que no es la vida que todos desean pero tiene muchas recompenzas y placeres. Disfrutar de nuevos hoteles, destinos increibles y probar comidas deliciosas.
Our life is Home-Airport-Hotel and Hotel-Airport-Home, most of the holidays are spent at high altitudes so it is not the life everyone desires but it has many rewards and pleasures. Enjoying new hotels, amazing destinations and tasting delicious food.
Una de las cosas que termina de engancharte en este hermoso trabajo son los hermosos paisajes que llegarias a ver estando a 30.000 pies de altura. Desde atardeceres unicos, hasta ver el mar en Las Bahamas y El Salto Angel desde el cielo.
One of the things that really gets you hooked on this beautiful job is the beautiful scenery you get to see from 30,000 feet in the air. From unique sunsets, to seeing the ocean in the Bahamas and Angel Falls from the sky.
No pude evitar el amor por los aviones y lo que representan para mi.
I couldn't help but love airplanes and what they represent to me.
No cambiaria nada de lo que he vivido hasta hoy, ojala pudiese vivir asi siempre jaja. No solo somos somos miembros de una tripulaciòn, conectamos personas somo un puente entre donde estas y adonde quieres llegar. GRACIAS POR LEER MI HISTORIA!!

Todo se ve hermosooo. A mí siempre me ha llamado la atención ser tripulante de cabina. Desde chiquita he tenido la oportunidad de viajar en aviones y la experiencia era increíble. Debe ser maravilloso poder conocer esos lugares, aunque si es cierto que te da poco tiempo para relacionarte pero mientras no tengas nada que te ate a tierra la experiencia se disfruta 💜
