Jasper National Park
Covering over 11,000, sq km Jasper is the largest park in the Canadian Rockies, and is truly unspoiled wilderness.
The lodge was terrific, with an outdoor heated pool, a small lake that they would drive the zamboni, that's an.....
ice cleaning machine, which made a trail a long the lake edge for skating.
There was also an abundance of wildlife, walking around the complex and in general.
Marmot mountain was a short drive, and had excellent skiing facilities, and ....

would be worth the trip just for the view.
There is not much snow on the ground around the lodge however on.....
the mountain there was plenty. Spring takes a while to reach the higher elevations.

Jasper can be seen as well as Pyramid Mountain, at over 9,000' elevation is the highest peak in the area.
Jasper only has a population of 4,600 and is the largest town in the vicinity.
The nearest city is 4 hour drive away, so the large park is rarely busy, only...
