This visit to the zoo, was my third visit to the state of Merida, a state that has me in love, the first time I went, was with my family on a tour, although the tours are charming because they know the key sites to visit, with the offers and delicious food, we can not deny that they are also tired because everything is scheduled. From this experience I have old photos that if I get all with pleasure I will make a super post.
The second time, was as a grade present for my younger sister, almost 10 years after my first time, was also in a tour, but this time different, although I visited some sites of my previous visit, I added some more and enjoyed more because I had more knowledge of what was happening and this time the responsibility was mine. >I owe you this post, even though I took 1200 photos I don't keep any because I lost the equipment where I had them.
Then came my third visit to Merida, in an unexpected way to a planned meeting, this time I went by bus, so I love to go on the road and "alone", that is to say with no one I know, only the person who was waiting for me in Merida, although I have photos of the tour and the visit that give rise to many publications, this time we will go to Chorros Milla Zoo
Chorros de Milla Zoo is an urban zoo located at 1850 meters above sea level in the northeast corner of the city of Merida, Venezuela with species native to the Andean region and Venezuela. With an area of 10 hectares,1 average temperature of 18 °C and crossed by the Milla River, the Merida Zoo was built in 1958 and is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Moriche Blanco
This little guy shows us his patience with his lanco and black colors, he is a native of South America, with a habitat in the Venezuelan Andes.
It measures on average 29 cm long. The male weighs about 76 g and the female 67.5 g. It has a bright blue-black head, throat and chest, white belly and flanks and a long black tail with white tips. Its iris is yellow.
Turpial Venezolano
This one fills me with particular pride to present you our bird National El Turpial this restless personale of yellow and black plumage, I am glad and I exalt my heart.
The Venezuelan turpial or turpial guajiro is a species of passerine bird from the family Icteridae endemic to northern South America. It is a small bird, measuring between 15 and 22 cm, with black head and wings and the rest of the body yellow. They can live alone or in pairs and their melodious song is very peculiar.
It is the national bird of Venezuela, being chosen in a contest sponsored by the Venezuelan Society of Natural Sciences and officially declared on May 23, 1958.

La segunda vez, fue como regalo de grado para mi hermana menor, casi 10 años despues de mi primera vez, también fue en un tour, pero esta vez diferente, aunque visite algunos sitios de mi visita anterior, agregue unos más y disfrute más porque tenia más conocimiento de lo que estaba ocurriendo y esta vez las responsabilidad era mia. >Les debo este post, aunqye tome 1200 fotos no conservo ninguna porque perdí el equipo donde las tenia.
Entonces llego mi tercera visita a Merida, de una forma inesperada a un encuentro planificado, esta vez me fuí en bus, con lo que me encanta vijar en carretera y "sola", es decir con nadie conocido, solo la persona que me esperaba en Merida, aunque tengo fotos del recorrido y la visita que dan origen a muchas publicaciones, esta vez iremos al Parque Zoológico Chorros de Milla
El Parque Zoológico Chorros de Milla es un jardín zoológico urbano situado a 1850 msnm en el extremo noreste de la ciudad de Mérida, Venezuela con especies autóctonas de la región andina y de Venezuela. Con un terreno de 10 hectáreas,1 temperatura promedio de 18 °C y surcado por el río Milla, el zoológico de Mérida fue construido en 1958 y abre para el público de Martes a Domingo de 8:00 a.m. a 6:00 p.m
Es fácil llegar, en vehiculo propio las señales estan especificas para la llegada, si deciden movilizarse en bus, esta una ruta desde el centro de Merida que te deja en toda la puerta del zoológico.
Se llama parque zoológico porque a parte de las diversas especies animales que posee, tambien tiene especies naturales que llenan de encanto, la atracción central es la cascada de agua que cae en la cima del parque y atravieza todo el parque.
La atracción principal es el Oso Frontino, lamentablemente en esta ocasión ya no estaba pero colocaron una vaya informatova en su homenaje.
Bien, aqui una parte de las especies que me pude encontrar; cabe destacar que la mayoria de las espexies en exhibición su habitad es de la zona.
Moriche Blanco
Este pequeño nos muestra su paciencia con sus colores lanco y negro, es oriundo de Suramerica, con habitad en los Andes Venezolanos.
Mide en promedio 29 cm de longitud. El macho pesa alrededor de 76 g y la hembra 67,5 g. Presenta la cabeza, la garganta y el pecho negros azulados brillantes; el vientre y los flancos blancos. Cola larga negra con puntas blancas. Su iris es amarillo.

Este me llena de orgullo particular les presento nuestra ave Nacional El Turpial este inquieto personale de plumaje amarillo y negro, me alegro y me exalto el corazon.
El turpial venezolano o turpial guajiro es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Icteridae endémica del norte de América del Sur. Es un pájaro pequeño, que mide entre 15 y 22 cm, tiene la cabeza y las alas de color negro y el resto del cuerpo amarillo. Pueden vivir solo o en pareja y su canto melodioso es muy peculiar.
Es el ave nacional de Venezuela, resultando así elegida en un concurso auspiciado por la Sociedad Venezolana de Ciencias Naturales y oficialmente declarada el 23 de mayo de 1958.
Tortuga Negra, estos tranquilos y misteriosos ejemplares, me invitaron a leer sobre ellos en el momento que los vi, resulta que son ua especie que esta en peligro de extinción.
Pato Guiriri
Este singular especimen poso con toda tranquilidad para mi, en lo particular me encanta el color rojo en su pico ¿Quien no se derrite con esa mirada?
-Este pato mide unos 50 cm de largo, tiene una envergadura de sus alas de aproximadamente 90 cm y llega a pesar 700 y a veces un poco más. El plumaje es similar en ambos sexos por lo que es algo difícil distinguir la hembra del macho a simple vista.
Tucan Pico Negro

Cuando los vi fue imposile recordar las comiquitas, ¿Quien no ha visto los flamencos y el tucan en las peliculas y series del rey Leon?
El Tucan, Mide entre 53 y 56 cm de longitud y pesa entre 620 y 740 g. Su plumaje es principalmente negro con las puntas marrón desde la corona hasta la parte alta de la espalda; las plumas encima de la cola son de color crema; debajo de la cola de color rojo; pecho rojo.
Ahora ustedes se pregunataran ¿esto es todo lo que hay en el zoológico? Pues no, esto es un abre boca de muchas otras especies que ire mostrando.
Esta es mi entrada al Concurso Pinmapple Si tuviera $1000, si!! porque yo con ese dinero me iria de viaje de nuevo a Merida, con mayores oportunidades de conocer otros espacios y visitar los ya visitados.
Incluso en este caso trataria de dar una donación para el benefico de la flora y fauna del lugar, existe una mezcla de sensaciones cuando vas a un sitio ya visitado, nostalgia por lo que no has escontrado de nuevo y emoción por lo nuevo que puedes encontrar.
Yo pondria mi granito de arena por todos los viajeros que queremos refrescar la memoria cuando vamos a un sitio ya visitado, para los viajeros que invitamos a otros a viajar y disfrutar del recorrido, para los viajeros que caprutan momentos y crean recuerdos.
