Lakes in Adamov are part of the Adamov recreation area, located just a short distance from the town of Gbely. These lakes are made up of two former flooded gravel deposits and today belong to the most important ornithological sites in the Záhorie region.
Also several thousand water birds made this place their oasis. A visitor can observe them from nearby observation post. Adamovska Lakes , are categorized as a birds’ protected zone
During the summer, Adamov Lakes are a popular recreational site. Thanks to pure and crystal-clear water, visitors use it mainly for swimming, water sports, but also fishing.
You can get there simply by turning to Kuty - Holic, or by following the red bicycle trail. The trail goes along the Morava river dam.
