Scotland is a lovely place, I did a tour a few years ago but not as far up north as your planned trip. I might steal your route since you've done all the planning already 😄

Lucky you, it's more within your reach not so! Definitely one for my bucket list, I have a Scottish SA friend somewhere there as well, but we lost contact, will make sure I find her if I get up there!
