Hallo liebe Community,
in unserem Hollandurlaub haben wir auch eine Tagestour in die Hauptstadt Den Haag gemacht. Wir waren begeistert, nochmal ein Stückchen schöner als Amsterdam wo wir schon oft waren. In Den Haag waren wir das erste mal und es hat sich wirklich gelohnt.
Die komplette Innenstadt besteht aus alten verwinkelten Gassen und ist als Fußgängerzone komplett autofrei. Ist auch klar, da die Holländer die Autos systematisch aus den Städten treiben wollen. So haben wir für 3 Stunden Parkhaus glatte 28 € Parkgebühren bezahlt. Macht Sinn, könnte sichDeutschland ruhig mal was abschauen bei den Nachbarn.
Überall konnte man sich schön ins Cafe setzen und einen Latte Machiato genießen. Leider war es mit der Sonne etwas rar an diesem Tag. Absolutes Highlight war das Mauritshuis das ein bißchen an Hogwarts aus Harry Potter erinnert. Hier haben wir auch zufällig fast die komplette holländische regierung beobachten können, die gerade zu einer Sitzung eintraf und eifrig Interviews an die wartenden Reporter vergab.
Natürlich durfte auch der Königspalast von Willem Alexander und maxima nicht fehlen, gesehen haben wir sie aber leider nicht. Aber allein die Architektur war den Besuch schon wert.
Den Abschluss unseres Aufenthaltes genossen wir dann in China Town. Ja, das gibt es auch hier und an jedem Ende steht ein fantastisches chinesisches Tor mit herrlichen Verzierungen. Wir fanden dann auch ein tolles chinesisches Restaurant wo wir ein schmackhaftes echt chinesisches Essen serviert bekamen und das noch zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. So konnten wir uns dann frisch gestärkt auf den Weg Richtung Den Haag Pier machen, denn wir wollten schließlich auch die Attraktionen dort noch bestaunen. Und die waren teilweise echt krass. Aber davon mehr in meinem zweiten Post zu Den Haag.

Hello dear community,
in our Holland vacation we also made a day trip to the capital The Hague. We were thrilled, again a bit more beautiful than Amsterdam where we have often been. In The Hague we were the first time and it was really worth it.
The entire city center consists of old winding streets and is a pedestrian zone completely free of cars. Is also clear, because the Dutch want to drive the cars systematically out of the cities. So we have paid for 3 hours parking garage smooth 28 € parking fees. Makes sense, couldDeutschland quiet times what abschauen with the neighbors.
Everywhere you could sit down nicely in the cafe and enjoy a latte machiato. Unfortunately, it was with the sun something rare on this day. Absolute highlight was the Mauritshuis which reminds a bit of Hogwarts from Harry Potter. Here we also happened to be able to observe almost the entire Dutch government, which just arrived for a meeting and eagerly gave interviews to the waiting reporters.
Of course, the royal palace of Willem Alexander and maxima could not be missed, but unfortunately we did not see them. But the architecture alone was worth the visit.
The end of our stay we enjoyed then in China Town. Yes, there is also here and at each end is a fantastic Chinese gate with beautiful decorations. We then also found a great Chinese restaurant where we were served a tasty real Chinese food and still at a very reasonable price. So we could then freshly strengthened on the way to The Hague Pier, because we wanted to finally marvel at the attractions there. And they were partly really crass. But more about that in my second post about The Hague.
