Hola amigos de la comunidad
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías que capturan la esencia de nuestro viaje a Tostós, una encantadora localidad ubicada en el municipio Boconó, en el corazón del estado Trujillo, Venezuela.
Este pequeño rincón de nuestra tierra andina es mucho más que un destino: es un lugar lleno de historia, espiritualidad y tradiciones que se sienten en cada calle, en cada sonrisa de sus habitantes, y en cada rincón rodeado de montañas. Tostós se encuentra a una altitud aproximada de 1370 metros sobre el nivel del mar, lo que le otorga un clima fresco y agradable, ideal para desconectarse y reconectar con lo esencial.
En esta ocasión, vinimos a visitar a algunos familiares de mi esposo, quienes nos recibieron con ese calor humano tan característico de los pueblos venezolanos. Aproveché la oportunidad para capturar y compartir con ustedes la belleza de este lugar: sus paisajes montañosos que parecen abrazar al pueblo con serenidad.
Tostós también es un espacio de cultura viva. Sus celebraciones religiosas, como el tradicional Viacrucis Viviente, y sus festividades patronales, reflejan el profundo arraigo espiritual de su gente. Cada evento es una manifestación de identidad, donde la música, la danza y la gastronomía local se entrelazan para contar la historia de un pueblo que ha sabido conservar sus raíces a lo largo de los siglos.
Espero que estas imágenes les transmitan un poco de la paz, la belleza y el encanto que sentimos al estar allí. Today I want to share with you some pictures that capture the essence of our trip to Tostós, a charming town located in the municipality of Boconó, in the heart of Trujillo state, Venezuela.
This small corner of our Andean land is much more than a destination: it is a place full of history, spirituality and traditions that can be felt in every street, in every smile of its inhabitants, and in every corner surrounded by mountains. Tostós is located at an altitude of approximately 1370 meters above sea level, which gives it a cool and pleasant climate, ideal for disconnecting and reconnecting with the essentials.
On this occasion, we came to visit some of my husband's relatives, who welcomed us with that human warmth so characteristic of the Venezuelan people. I took the opportunity to capture and share with you the beauty of this place: its mountainous landscapes that seem to embrace the people with serenity.
Tostós is also a place of living culture. Its religious celebrations, such as the traditional Viacrucis Viviente, and its patron saint festivities, reflect the deep spiritual roots of its people. Each event is a manifestation of identity, where music, dance and local cuisine intertwine to tell the story of a people that has preserved its roots over the centuries.
