Welcome to all, today I'm going to tell you about an incredible experience I had during my trip in Morocco. I had the chance to spend a night in the desert of Merzouga and I will tell you all about it !

First of all, let me introduce you to Merzouga, it is a small village located in the Sahara region of Morocco. The main attraction of Merzouga is its sand dunes, which can reach up to 150 meters high.
After passing through the village, I arrived at the place where the 4x4s were waiting to take us into the desert. We drove through the dunes for about an hour before arriving at our camp. I was impressed by the beauty of the landscape and the tranquility of the desert.
Our camp consisted of traditional Berber tents, equipped with beds and blankets to spend the night. We were greeted by local musicians who played traditional Moroccan music while we had mint tea.
After enjoying the sunset over the dunes, we were served a delicious Moroccan dinner of tagines, salads and fresh bread. After dinner, we were invited to join a campfire where we shared stories with the other travelers.
Then it was time for bed. I entered my tent and fell asleep under a beautiful starry sky. The silence of the desert was incredible and I was lulled by the sound of the wind and the sand dunes.
The next morning we were awakened early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. It was a breathtaking sight, the colors of nature were incredible. After breakfast, we took our 4x4 to return to the village of Merzouga.
Spending a night in the desert of Merzouga is an unforgettable experience in Morocco. The beauty of the landscape, the traditional music, the delicious food and the tranquility of the desert make it a unique and incredible adventure. I recommend this experience to all travelers who wish to discover the Moroccan culture and live an extraordinary adventure.
To begin your trip, you can fly to Errachidia airport, which is about a 4-hour drive from Merzouga. From there, you can rent a car or book a cab to get to your destination.
Once you arrive in Merzouga, you can enjoy a variety of activities to explore the desert. The sand dunes of Merzouga offer the perfect opportunity for sandboarding or riding a camel for an unforgettable ride through the desert.
If you wish to spend the night in the desert you can book a tent in one of the many Berber camps in the area. The tents are equipped with comfortable mattresses, warm blankets and solar lights to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
