Cubiro is a Venezuelan town located in the Jiménez municipality of Lara state and is located 57km south of Barquisimeto, Cubiro is one of the oldest towns in Venezuela. Cubiro is known for being the destination for those seeking one or several days of relaxation, a change of climate and a different environment that beautiful towns like this offer. Cubiro is for nature lovers, you can see mountains with large meadows, lie down in them, enjoy the freshness of its climate, ride a horse around the hill, taste typical dishes such as cachapa and pork, as well as sweets , hot chocolate, among other delights.

In the package that we offer we visit Las Lomas de Cubiro, La Cueva de los Carraos and Tintorero. Our trip began on a Saturday night and our transfer was by land in an Encava bus. We arrived in Cubiro early in the morning on Sunday and enjoyed some delicious cachapas for breakfast accompanied by a delicious panela juice with lemon. the guides gave us an exquisite hot chocolate, I confess that I am a fan of hot chocolate ☕. At the end of our breakfast we headed to the hills to ride a horse, I must tell you that the company I work with, which is @relindavenezuela, offers a free horseback ride for our tourists 🐴, the people who were finishing their horseback riding went to las lomas with @dojeda to take many pictures and enjoy the beautiful landscape that Cubiro has to offer us. 🍃

When we finished taking various photographs, we placed the tourists in a 4x4 truck to move to Cueva Los Carraos. Los Carraos Cave, despite not being a cave as such, bears this name due to its arched rock formation that makes it appear closed in the upper part of it, its vegetation is made up of bushes and immense green forests, of which you can enjoy during the walk to the waterfall. The truck dropped us off at a beautiful stream where we saw many cows 🐮, and we took many group and individual photographs, we continued our route and passed through various obstacles such as large logs, the road was very rocky and slippery so we had to be careful when walking, we also cross a deep well helping us with a rope that the local guide offers us to reach our wonderful destination and it is the beautiful waterfall that this cave has. 💦

Returning was the same way, we located in the hills to have lunch and to change our clothes, at the end we placed the tourists in the encava bus to go to our next destination which was Tintorero. Tintorero is well known for its sales of handicrafts, it is called Tintorero because of the ink, since it has been used to paint the threads and fabrics that the villagers create, the great variety of colors used by the artisans made this name an excellent application. Many years ago we used to weave with sheep's wool, today that has changed and currently we work with wick yarn. We were in Tintorero for a short period of time but we enjoyed it to the fullest, we were able to enjoy its works of arts and crafts, as well as its delicious strawberries with creams, I bought some bracelets for my partner and myself because we went together, I bought a massager and a souvenir for my mom. Without a doubt, we all returned to our homes that night extremely happy for the experience, if you want to relax for a while and spend some time with your loved ones or I only recommend visiting Cubiro, it is also valid if you want to escape from the infernal heat that exists today . 🤭 I hope you liked it and with this you are encouraged to learn a little more about my beloved Venezuela. ❤️
