Good morning Pinmapple friends, today I want to show you the last place I visited for this year 2023 and although it is not a place with the best location and so crowded of all I want it not to be forgotten in time, so I will take you for a walk through the Plaza del Buen Maestro.
This square is located on El Milagro Avenue with Bella Vista Avenue in the municipality of Maracaibo right next to the famous Marina Park, was built almost 100 years ago by the mayor at the time, to honor all those who carry as a profession to educate others as are the teachers who patiently teach generations, the Plaza del Buen Maestro is considered a cultural heritage of Venezuela since 2004 and is a renowned site for being the place where the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo was fought.
Because of its location is little visited by the Marabinos, when I set out to tour it was early in the morning and had approximately 10 years without coming, upon entering I found a huge sign with its name: Plaza del Buen Maestro, followed by a series of pillars with faded images of the Maracaibo of yesterday, then there is a cafe or restaurant before finishing touring the first area of the square that I do not know if it works at night, because at that time it was closed.
Then I set out to walk the promenade or boulevard where in the distance you could see the Zulia State flag flying high, with some planters and trees that leads directly to the shore of Lake Maracaibo with a relaxing and captivating view, at one end you could see some young people enjoying the lake in a gazebo.
Although it is a space for family recreation is a little desolate but currently I took the memory of seeing it well maintained compared to the last time I was in the place as it was in a complete state of neglect, I hope to continue pursuing for history and improving for the enjoyment of the Marabinos.
It was a short ride but I had to share it with you and leave it here, being of great relevance for local tourism.

Buenos días amigos de Pinmapple, hoy quiero mostrarles el último lugar que visite por este año 2023 y aunque no sea un sitio con la mejor ubicación y tan concurrido de todos quiero que no sea olvidado en el tiempo, así que los llevare a dar un paseo por la Plaza del Buen Maestro.
Esta plaza se encuentra ubicada en la avenida el Milagro con avenida Bella Vista del municipio Maracaibo justo al lado del reconocido Parque la Marina, fue construida hace casi 100 años por el alcalde la época, para rendirle honor a todos aquellos que llevan como profesión a educar a otros como lo son los maestros quienes con mucha paciencia enseñan a generaciones, la Plaza el Buen maestro es considerado patrimonio cultural de Venezuela desde el año 2004 y es un sitio de renombre por ser el lugar donde se libró la Batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo.
Por su ubicación es poco visitada por los Marabinos, cuando me dispuse a recorrerla eran tempranas horas de la mañana y tenía aproximadamente 10 años sin venir, al entrar me encontré con un enorme letrero con su nombre: Plaza del Buen Maestro, seguido por unas series de pilares con imágenes descoloridas de la Maracaibo de ayer, seguidamente se encuentra un café o restaurante antes de terminar de recorrer la primera zona de la plaza que desconozco si funciona por las noches, porque para ese momento se encontraba cerrado.
Luego me dispuse a caminar el paseo o boulevard donde a lo lejos se veía la bandera del Estado Zulia ondeando en lo alto, con algunas jardineras y árboles que nos lleva directamente a la ribera del Lago de Maracaibo con una vista relajante y cautivadora, en un extremo se podía observar a algunos jovencitos disfrutando del Lago en un gazebo.
Aunque es un espacio para el esparcimiento familiar se encuentra un poco desolado pero actualmente me llevó el recuerdo de verla bien cuidada a comparación de la última vez que estuve en el lugar ya que se encontraba en completo estado de abandono, espero se siga persevando para la historia y mejorando para el disfrute de los Marabinos.
Fue un paseo corto pero que debía compartirles y dejarles por acá, siendo de gran relevancia para el turismo local.

Si las estructuras pesé a la antigüedad aún se conservan, lo que más me gusta es su vista al Lago de Maracaibo. Por las noches posiblemente se vería bastante bonito e iluminado.
