I have a little a axing trip to the lake Gerosa, that it's not a natural lake but an artificial one but it's still cool and nice, the lake is situated in the region of Marche near Ascoli picino in the middle of the sibillini mountains, the famous mountains around Rome that had a long history of wars and problems.
The lake is now a naturalistic area with a lot of walks dedicated to the nature where you can admire birds and trees and enjoy the fresh air, it's perfect for doing a trekking day you can really walk around the lake and explore the amazing nature in the area. Here you can also fishing in some days abd there are are many kinda of fishes and many kind of tresse and plants too if you love to explore them.
The lake is in the Aso Valley and was build in the 1977 for watering the all valley and the city heares so it's not only a beutiful lake but it's useful too.
Here there are many green corners where you can have a picnic, I really enjoyed my trip there also if the weather was not so warm in sure during the summer this lake it's really lovely also surely there are many mosquitoes!!
