I am really thankful to you all for showing love and support on my last blog on my last blog. I discovered the ancient heart of Varanasi called Raj Ghat and in today’s blog. I’ll be exploring the Ghats very next to the Raj Ghat that are Golaghat, Trilochan Ghat and Badri Narayan Ghat.
If you haven’t been through my last blog, I’ll be sharing link below. Highly recommend to check this blog as well as last blogs to get the full picture of my journey.

After choosing our way in the holy river of Ganga and seeing Raj Ghat, we now came across this cruise ship that was right next to us. I thought it would be a great idea to capture the contact details of this cruise ship, just in case we wanted to do a cruise of this, you are again.
You can also take reference if you want and keep this handy if you want to do cruise ship travel in Kashi. The website and mobile number of the cruise company is shown in the ship itself.
After a couple minutes, we now reached the next Ghat. It was a very beautiful looking Ghat with shades of red decreasing as the stairs of Ghat elevated down. As you can see the photograph below, it was really looking very dramatic because of the colour contrast, and this Ghat really stood out from other Ghats because of it.
It was not only me, but the other tourist were also very curious about the heart that they were seeing. They were also taking photograph of that beautiful, looking staircase of that Ghat, although I was not able to capture the name of this beautiful Ghat, but this Ghar really caught my eye.
Gola Ghat—
This is also one of the oldest Ghat of Varanasi and has been in used since 12th century. This Ghat has a market called Gulla Market on the top of the Ghat, and after this market, only this Ghat got its name. This Ghat held very important role for boatsmen and fishermen of this region.
Trilochan Ghat—
This heart is named after Lord Shiva himself and is really beautiful Ghat situated on the banks of river Ganga. This Ghat is place for performing daily rituals around the river Ganga and many people come to this Ghat daily to seek blessings of river Ganga.
At the time, when we arrived there, there were not many people present there because of the harsh heat wave that was going around. It’s usually around evening time when people come to the Ghats and also around morning time when people come to the Ghats for worshipping.
I was only able to see two people walking on the heart. One of them was really old person who just came out of the river after taking the bath and was walking straight up to the road and other one was strolling around the bank of the river Ganga.
Badrinarayan Ghat—
This heart also has a great cultural and historical significance. As here. The temple of Badri Lord is situated. It is believed that this temple is significant and signifies the Badrinath of Uttarakhand. It is believed that replica of Badrinath Temple is built there.
This is enough for today, guys, I’ll be telling you guys more about my journey in tomorrow’s blog.
Thanks for passing by.
Peace ☮️
