Part-2

So here we were, getting back from the Saryu Ghat in an electric rickshaw towards our hotel room. We had to change from the rickshaw to our buses that were parked outside of the city and then towards our hotel room.
The Holy Saryu River-
So after 15 minutes of riding in electric rickshaw, we reached near to our buses, and those buses took us out of the town towards our hotel room. This was the moment I was waiting for from a long time exactly since I visited this holy city, I want you to see the holy Saryu river in all its glory and I was on the bridge that is built on top of this river and I was about to cross it in the bus.
It was a really huge river bigger than I expected it to be. It was probably very deep too. That’s why it makes sense to make a little Canal out of it to channel it inside of the city for people to take bath in it, and eliminate all the danger of taking bath in this huge river. I have written about that little Canal called naya Ghat in my last blog. You can check that from the link that I have posted on the top of this blog.
I could also see the older Ghats that were built around this river. It was not that those Ghats were empty after making of Naya Ghat. I could still see some people on the river bank.
This river was so wide that even on a bus, it took us more than a couple minutes to cross this bridge, so I’m guessing that the width of this river has to be more than a few hundred metres for sure.
Reaching our hotel-
After travelling for about 20 minutes in the bus, we now reached the outskirts of the city, where most of the hotels were situated. They were many hotels that were built right after one another as there was a plenty of space for properties to be built.
And one of such properties was our hotel. It was a kind of hotel which was a multipurpose venue as well. There was a marriage hall, a banquet Hall, a place for parking a swimming pool and many other amenities built on the same property..
As I was travelling with a big group of about 150 people, so it was perfect place for all of us to stay at one place. That’s why the management must have chosen this hotel instead of the little ones that were present inside of the city.
Hey, you can see one of the three buses getting inside of the property. Next for our bus and there was another one right behind us. So the plan was to rest for a couple hours and then have lunch before heading to the main attraction of the city in the second half of the day.
The property was so huge that to transport people to their respective rooms, they had to use golf carts so that people don’t get tired. It looks like there was a recent marriage that happened in the property from the things that were lying around the property at the time when we visited there.
After our room was allotted, went straight to our room to have some rest. It was a really beautiful room and a really good hotel as you can see the photographs below.
After doing rest and taking bath, it was already an hour that was passed, so it was time for lunch. Our lunch was arranged in the banquet hall that was present inside the property. You can see that in the photograph below.
We had a really fulfilling lunch, and now it was time for us to get back to our room to have some more dress before heading towards the main attraction of the city.
Right outside of the banquet hall, there was a beautiful swimming pool as well that you can see in the photograph below. II wish I knew about it earlier because I wanted to take a dip in it so badly.
That’s all for today.
Thanks for passing by.
Peace ☮️
