I had always heard that Railay, a hidden gem in Krabi, was one of the most breathtaking places in Thailand, but nothing compared to actually being there.
✈️ My journey began with a flight to Krabi Airport. From there, I took a car ride to Ao Nam Mao Pier, the departure point for long-tail boats to Railay. The boat ride itself was unforgettable, only about 10-15 minutes across the turquoise waters, with towering limestone cliffs rising dramatically from the sea, as if nature was guiding me into a hidden paradise.

Stepping onto Railay Beach felt surreal. The sand was soft and white, the water crystal-clear and the cliffs surrounding the beach made it feel like a hidden paradise cut off from the outside world.

Railay is small but full of charm. I wandered along the walking street lined with cozy cafes, reggae bars and local shops. The highlight was the hike to the famous viewpoint, which was challenging, but the panoramic view of emerald waters and hidden lagoons was worth every step.

🌅Sunset Magic.
As the sun set, the sky turned into a canvas of orange, pink and purple. Long-tail boats drifted gently on the horizon. It was a moment of peace and magic that I’ll never forget.

The best time to visit is supposed to be between November and April (the dry season). I visited on July 28th, during the rainy season, but I was incredibly lucky as it didn’t rain at all. The weather was perfect and the crowds were few.

See you again on the next trip.😘

Railay Beach looks like pure paradise.. Love your photos and how you described the peaceful vibe and sunset makes me want to visit Krabi soon
If you get the chance to come, I'd love to recommend that you go snorkeling in Phuket and visit Maya Bay in Phi Phi as well. That's where I tried
snorkeling for the first time,
and it was so worth facing my fear-such an unforgettable experience.✨
