" The ascent to reach the waterfall is quite the hike - I can feel my heart pumping! It's so nice to be out and about on the weekend - I can feel myself shed the stresses of the week. From the hill the views are stunning, looking down into the valley and the river below. The track goes up before hitting a fork, where you either cross a stream to get to another waterfall or go left to a gorge. I take the ascent down to the falls, gagging at a couple who come up stinking of perfume and both on their phones. He's wearing converse - hardly the shoes for the slippery and muddy terrain. "

🥈 Breathtaking Sanctuary in Italy: Madonna di San Luca (Bolonia) [Eng - Esp] by @belug
" Once on top of the hill of La Guardia, about 300 meters above sea level, was the Sanctuary of the Madonna of San Luca, where I entered quickly, so I had already gotten there, but I was much more interested in walking around the esplanade that surrounded it, since my ultimate goal was to be more in contact with nature and get away a little from the endless walls of Bologna."

🥉 A visit to Trieste, Italy by @jelenaa
" The first impression when we arrived in Trieste was, "are we in Italy?" Honestly, I didn't feel the Italian spirit like in other Italian cities I've traveled to before. I felt some special, unique spirit. Trieste was part of Austria in the past and the cultural and historical heritage is imbued with the Austrian spirit and architecture."
