Hello people, 3 weeks ago I visited Nainital, the lake city of Uttarakhand, with my family. It was very special for me because it was my first visit there. Our departure was at 10:50 am in morning so we woke up in early morning at 4 am. We all got ready and left our home at 6 am. Our flight was from terminal 1 airport. The airport was approx 20 kms away from our house which took us awaiting when we did boarding of our bags took a trolley for hand carry bag and then we left for the lounge. We went to the lounge which was Encalm Lounge. The lounge was very aesthetic.
We sat there and had our breakfast. After a couple of minutes we left for our airplane. A bus was waiting for us we came in bus there few more people also. We reached the planed and sat there and were excited for the take off. I have traveled in plane but it was many time ago. The plane take off I was a little nervous but after some time it was normal. The plane took 50 minutes to reach pant nagar. We landed there we waited at the airport for our luggage. You might be wondering that why we reached pant nagar this is because Nainital don’t have airport and the nearest airport is pant nagar and then you have to take a cab to Nainital. And we did same after taking our luggage we took a cab and we were going to the refreshing valleys of Nainital.
After covering half distance we took a break and sat for eating Maggie and tea . After eating we continued our journey as we were up in the valleys the air was colder and colder. Nainital temperature was half of delhi. After 30 minutes we reached Nainital. It was so beautiful and very cold too. The Naini lake was so beautiful and so long. Our hotel was on mall road in front of Naini lake. We reached our hotel kept our luggage rest for few minutes and the we went to boating. We took two boats. By the boat drive there we got to know that this lake is very deep. And now lake water is declining. We took half round which was for time 30 minutes. I put my finger in Naini lake and it was so cold that the temperature would be in minus. They gives a jacket so that the person doesn’t drown in lake. After completing our boating.
We sat in e rickshaw and headed towards the naina devi temple. And the boat told us a story of Naini lake and people there also said it true that there was a person naina devi her one eye fall in this area of lake by which this lake is formed. And if you see from other Himalayas there this lake is shape of an eye. We reached the Naini Devi temple we pray to god and then we ate some chinese food there and there was a very big market and also a cricket ground nearby. We did some shopping for our family and we started walking on mall road. And while walking we reached our hotel. And then we slept and the day 1 ends. I hope you liked it. Met you in day 2.
