Mount Bur Kelieten is one of the most favored places by people who have a hobby of climbing mountains, Mount Bur Kelieten is located in Takengon City, Bintang District, Central Aceh, Indonesia is one of the prima donna destinations for climbers in Sumatra and Aceh. This mountain which has a height of 2639 meters above sea level provides extraordinary beauty, coolness and unexpected satisfaction.
To get to the climbing base camp, climbers have to pass several kilometers from the city of Takengon, mountain climbers also have to pass approximately one-third around the Laut Tawar lake.
When the climbers have arrived at the base camp of Mount Bur Kelieten, we will park their vehicles in the space provided, and before climbing the climbers will also be checked all the goods and preparation of their climbing equipment in advance by the officers, for safety and this does not happen unwanted things. Officers will carry out checks on what climbers bring, ranging from climbing logistics equipment during the ascent, physical and mental health of the climbers.
At the beginning of the climb, the climbers will be presented with a lush coffee garden belonging to the local residents. We will also be placed with a beautiful view of the freshwater lake above which is covered by clouds.
We must go through step by step with confidence and fortitude and the spirit of sustainability, in order to achieve a calm. And the climb continues until the climbers will pass through the lush pine forest that is still very natural. Interspersed with a few steps, the climbing route is increasingly draining the climbers. We must go through forest after forest with enthusiasm until we reach the Rock Peak. Puncak Batu is the best place to enjoy the beauty of nature and the beautiful view of Lake Laut Tawar.
Bur kelieten itself has two peaks, one peak is called the rock peak where that is the place for those who enjoy sunrise and sunset, and the ocean of clouds, as well as the beauty of the fresh sea that surrounds the city of Takengon. One more peak is the highest peak of Bur Kelieten which is usually called the peak of the pillar where there is only a Pillar Stone which is the main favorite destination for true mountain climbers. To get to the top of the pillar, the climbers must pass through the valley of the moss forest, and rock cliffs, as well as a steep road. That's where all the struggles and fatigue of those who fought will pay off.
