I have just returned home from a Chanthaburi trip for about a week, I was pretty busy but I try to blog much as I can. 😀
This blog will continue to take you through Chivaree Resort. Chivaree Resort is located on a beach of Chanthaburi called Chao Loa. After taking a rest inside the room with a pleasant atmosphere that is ideal for relaxation. There is also an outdoor space that offers us a place to relax and become one with nature. It's time to take a small walk around the resort!!
REST SECTION ZONE
We walk along with the stone path block until reaching the rest section zone that facing to the beach which is a very peaceful corner as well.
Here, there're two small wooden boxes, surrounded by large trees and small plants. I guess, just having a good book and a soft silky beach mat that would be enough.
DAYBED FACING THE BEACH
Along with the humility and peacefully indoor design. Even more, the outdoor area is also impressive. Beside the wooden boxes, the daybed with red cushions lay on the green grass that faces the white sandy beach and the bright blue sea is spectacular.
It doesn't get more beach perfect than this wooden chair and the blue sea.
We spent plenty of time here only breathing and stopping thinking. Just free our messy brains.
THE COZY SWING CHAIRS
The front of the hotel is expansive and well-maintained with swing chairs, palm trees, tropical plants, and a fresh pure view of the Gulf of Thailand.
There are plenty of swing chairs set along the beach. Just sitting on the wooden swing chair hanging on a tree near the beach will give you a calm feeling.
The swing chair was wild and strong enough for two heavy persons. Nothing better than leaning on each other and doing a light swing together and enjoying the sea view with a cozy wind. 🏝
ADORABLE BEACH BAR
Just beside the swimming pool and next to the swing chair section was one of the coolest places in this resort. An adorable wood hut with a straw roof where you can hang out, grab a drink, or just enjoy the view. During the day, you can sit at the beach bar and watch the waves roll in and also listen to the rhythm of nature.
The Beach Bar is located in front of Chivaree Resort. The resort beach bar offers a wide selection of cold beverages such as cocktails, mocktails, and smoothies with distinctive flavors and uniqueness. And you can sit and drink and hang out while watching the sunset in the evening too.
SURF CAMP HUT
Within Chivaree Resort, You can do beach activities such as joining the surf camp, where they offer to practice the skills you learned during your stay.
Such fun to challenge yourself to balance on the surfboard and have some exited about the outdoor activity.
ANOTHER SWING CHAIR
If you have a few minutes, let's swing the chair one more which can keep your little one entertained.
THE NIGHT HAS COME
Our tiny mission has come to an end with the moonlight and the path light all over the resort. Although we would like to continue our sleep in this comfortable place very much, we still have to wake up early and have breakfast then start to explore more in this city.
HAPPY BREAKFAST
Just like at most resorts in Thailand, breakfast was also included with the room rate, and it was a breakfast buffet.
The restaurant for breakfast is beside the pool, and I always try to get to breakfast as soon as it opens and try to be the first one at the breakfast buffet – maybe that’s because I'm a bit paranoid about the Covid situation. 😅
The restaurant is decorated perfectly in tropical style and also gives a friendly feeling. It is decorated with wooden furniture in a shade of red color. The lamp is made of red silk fabric and decorated with red tropical flowers.
THE BUFFET BREAKFAST IS DIVIDED INTO THREE MAIN SECTIONS
Breakfast was served buffet style with various sections both Continental and Thai Style.
The beverage station
It offers fresh milk, orange juice, and mineral water.
Hot tea and hot coffee come along with creamer and sugar. Besides the hot beverage station, they offer two types of cereal that perfectly with fresh cold milk.
Garden salad bar where you can create your salad with various types of salad dressing. You'll also be able to make yourself a slice of toasted bread, which the restaurant provided you with a few toasters, butter, and strawberry jam.
Plus, everyone loves pancakes so how can they miss it? A fluffy pancake with a heart and round shape.
Frying Eggs Station.
They are perfect with Thai fried rice or having them with sausage and ham as continental breakfast.
Ham and Sausage
Pad See Ew means “stir-fried soy sauce noodles”, and is an extremely popular Thai street food meal. It’s a dish of stir-fried wide rice noodles with Chinese kale then seasoning with soy sauce. Clear soup is always the food for Thais to eat as breakfast. It's a clear soup with soft bean curd, veggie, and minced pork.
Fried rice is must-have for the breakfast buffet in Thailand. Simple but full of flavor and get along perfectly with lime and cucumber.
Such a great way to start the day by having breakfast beside the bright blue sea.
A plate of pancakes with jam and butter, garden salad, pad see ew and a fried egg with ham and sausage beside a bowl of warm soup plus a glass of milk and orange juice was the highlight of the first day of breakfast buffet for me.
I GOT TO EAT SOME THINGS I WAS FAMILIAR WITH!!!!
For the second day of the breakfast buffet, I normally love to eat Thai food everywhere I go. for the second day of the breakfast buffet I am dedicated to eating like Thais. A fried egg topped over steamed rice beside Thai-style spicy chicken and a bowl of prik nam pla (Thai chilies in fish sauce) with a glass of lemon juice. And of course, rice soup and warm clear soup!!!
If you would like to leave and abandon the chaos in life for a moment, you could take a journey and live a slow life for two nights and three days here, and charge our strength. I can for sure say that Chivaree Resort was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed in my life. 🎐
There are a few places that I visited during my journey to Chanthaburi. I hope I'll find time to post them as soon as possible.
