Hello friends, I think I have already told you about this hamlet because I must have already made a post some time ago, anyway on Saturday I went to visit a dear friend of mine who lives nearby in this beautiful hamlet that is located in the Trebbia Valley, in the province of Piacenza in the region of Emilia Romagna.
This time I went to the shops in the village, because I was looking for presents for Christmas, but unfortunately I found nothing of interest in this small hamlet, although I think it is always nice to take these walks through these beautiful villages.
In the main square of the village, in front of its church, a small Christmas tree has been set up. Unfortunately, like so many other places in Italy I have visited lately, this year, in order to save money, not many Christmas decorations have been put up, making these places very sad from my point of view, but fortunately here in Bobbio they have done some small decorations.
In fact, in some places in the village, animals were placed, all lit up, making the atmosphere more Christmassy.
As you can see from the photos, even though it was Saturday, there weren't many people around because it was quite cold, but this village is very charming with its medieval-style streets and as you can see, the houses have been completely restored.
There are several shops in the centre, both clothes shops and shops selling foodstuffs.
In fact, I found the classic village shop, where everything and anything was inside, with cold meats and hams that are produced in the area hanging above.
In the end, thanks to my friend, I bought some honey that is produced around here, I always like to give good things to eat, it cost a lot but it's quality stuff.
