Hello dear Hivers!
Today we’re sharing with you more of our escapades with our big family on our last vacation in the Philippines ..a few months ago. (Omg it’s been that long !)
The province of Bohol, Philippines is known not only for its Chocolate Hills and tarsiers but also for its white-sand beaches. As beachin' was one of our itineraries, we went to South Palms Resort located in Panglao, Bohol. We read about its fine white sand, clear waters, palm trees, and a bit of exclusivity as it is a private beach.
THE BEACH
Here we are at South Palms…..a vast resort with a long stretch of white sand beach, blue skies, and calm waves. Not crowded, and giving us that sense of tranquility. It was perfect weather, a nice time and place for the family.
As soon as we reached the shore, we kicked our shoes and took a long barefoot walk, feeling the sand under our feet and between our toes…it was like getting a soothing and relaxing massage.
There are rows of brightly colored beach lounge chairs where one can lay or just sit back and stare at the blue skies and the open ocean, and enjoy the sea water air or engage in light conversation, reminiscing the good old days.
RESTAURANT, BAR, AND SWIMMING POOL
The property has a restaurant specializing in live seafood. It also offers a breathtaking view of the ocean while dining. This was where we had lunch with our favorite Filipino foods.
Just a few steps away is the Coastal Pool Bar which has orange round comfortable beach sofas where guests can lounge while sipping their favorite drinks or just relaxing and watching the sunset. These orange-colored sofas and umbrellas have become their trademark,
Beside the bar is an infinity swimming pool for those who don't want the sea but just a dip in the water. Although the ocean was calm we preferred to stay and soak in the pool.
PALM TREES
The resort has thousands of palm trees around, creating it a tropical paradise. These provide shade and more relaxation as you can either go walking or lay on the swings or daybeds under the trees and just enjoy the breeze.
DAYBEDS, SWINGS, AND HAMMOCKS
Rest your back or take a nap on the day beds or hammocks. You can even swing your cares away. Pick your choice....relaxation at its best.
Time passed by quickly, and it was time to go.
We all had a good time. Looking forward to the next vacation round and hoping it will BE very soon!

Nice location, how I wish to visit the place one day, those white sandbars and the coconut trees! Love them all!
When you go home to Philippine , include this in your itinerary. It's more fun when you are there and

I remember Panglao Beach. Indeed a nice spot. I was there just for lunch. Our boat was moored at the beach between 2 dives. We had lunch on the beach and it was great! I don't remember the restaurant's name but I do remember the perfect grilled food!

Woe, its my province of Bohol but I didnt visit this place because going there will cost a big budget.
