In these autumn days with foggy mornings, sunny afternoons, yellowed leaves of the trees and the different colors of autumn, I was thinking of telling you a story about my experience in the summer at Lake ,,Saint Ann,, and ,,Tinovul Mohoș,,.
First of all, I have to tell you what a Tinov is. The Tinov is a swampy area, where the groundwater reaches in some places even to the surface, forming water holes with a specific vegetation formed mostly of moss.
Tinovul Mohoș is formed in a volcanic crater. It should be noted that Tinovul Mohoș is visited only with a guide at set times.
The fee I paid was 30 lei / 6euro which included car parking, entering the ,,Tinovul Mohoș,, and visiting Lacul Sfanta Ana.
At the entrance to the swamp we were greeted by the guide who told us that on the way we will advance in the forest and at some point we will walk on wooden bridges, because the layer of moss is very thin and there's the risk of sinking into the swamp.

The guide told us that in this awesome place grow some hallucinogenic plants that look like blueberries, also here are growing the most interesting carnivorous plant "Heaven's Dew", which disappears during the cold season.
In Tinov we also saw Scots pine, blueberries, cranberries and two water holes. In these two water holes the guide said that research was done by divers who reached a depth of 18m below due to lack of light and the conical shape could no longer advance.
The visit to Tinovul Mohoș lasts on average one hour, in our case the visit was about 35 minutes because a bear and her cubs were present in Tinov.
Visiting the Tinov with a guide, who is a professional, is completely safe.
I forgot to tell you that on the way to the Tinov I met a bear cub. I specify that I was in the car in perfect safety🐻 
After visiting Tinov, we took a walk to St. Anne's Lake, which is located at an altitude of 950m, near the Tusnad baths in the Mohos nature reserve, Harghita county, Romania. The lake is a must see of Harghita county in Romania.
It is the only volcanic lake on the Romanian territory, which was formed in the crater of Ciomatului Mare, extinct many years ago.
The lake is not very big in size, you can visit it on foot but you have to be very careful because there you can meet bears, that's why when you start the route through the forest to the lake it is advisable to move in groups.
You will find information panels everywhere.
Arriving on the shore of the lake and being a bit hungry, we bought to eat a Kurtos (something like a sweet bread with sugar/cinnamon/walnut topping and it's specifically Hungarian).
In fact here you can stay for a picnic or you can take a boat ride.
