Hey amigos mochileros, viajeros y excursionistas, como estás?, En esta oportunidad les traigo un nuevo destino turístico del departamento de Caldas, llamado Malecón Cameguadua o Lago Cameguadua, un destino muy visitado por los turísticas debido a las varias actividades que podemos realizar aquí, como paseo en kayak, lancha, bicicleta acuática, e incluso la pesca deportiva. Ademas de eso este Lago es un mirador de Aves por la gran diversidad que se ve a los alrededores, se considera un pequeño santuario de la zona.
También se puede pagar la entrada y mirar desde el restaurante o caminar por los alrededores, donde hay una pequeña vegetación con arboles que dan mucha sombra, flores exóticas y espacios para estar con amigos.
La distancia que hay desde Santa Rosa lugar donde me estoy quedando hasta el Malecón es de 20km aproximadamente, unos 25min en motocicleta, ya que e encuentra a las afueras del pueblo de Chinchiná, esta entre la carretera Chinchiná-Palestina. Para este viaje fui con la compañía de mi hermano como guía turístico y mis primos, donde hicimos algunas actividades dentro del malecón y tuvimos una tarde muy agradable.
La carretera esta en muy estado nada comparado con las vías de mi país, por lo cual el paseo en moto no es nada agotador, sin embargo hay demasiadas curvas y esto me mareaba un poco, pero ver al rededor en este viaje los cafetales y vegetación para mi fue increíble.

Hey friends backpackers, travelers and hikers, how are you, this time I bring you a new tourist destination in the department of Caldas, called Malecon Cameguadua or Lake Cameguadua, a destination very visited by tourists because of the various activities that can be done here, such as kayaking, boating, water biking, and even sport fishing. Besides that, this lake is a viewpoint for birds because of the great diversity that can be seen in the surroundings, it is considered a small sanctuary of the area.
You can also pay the entrance fee and watch from the restaurant or walk around, where there is a small vegetation with trees that give plenty of shade, exotic flowers and spaces to be with friends.
The distance from Santa Rosa where I am staying to the Malecon is about 20km, about 25min by motorcycle, as it is located on the outskirts of the town of Chinchiná, between the Chinchiná-Palestina road. For this trip I went with the company of my brother as a tour guide and my cousins, where we did some activities inside the boardwalk and had a very nice afternoon.
The road is in very good condition, nothing compared to the roads in my country, so the bike ride is not tiring at all, however there are too many curves and this made me a little dizzy, but seeing the coffee plantations and vegetation around was incredible for me.
Al llegar hay lugar hay un parqueadero de autos y motocicletas, así que allí dejamos ambas motos y nos fuimos directamente la restaurante para pagar la entrada. Tome una fotografía de las tarifas del lugar.

Con la entrada podemos estar en las instalaciones y mirar todo al rededor y caminar hasta donde sea posible, para el caso de la pesca solo es deportiva no se pueden llevar los ejemplares y solo se puede hacer desde el muelle. El resto de las actividades se realiza lejos del muelle para no interrumpir la pesca.

Nosotros caminamos un poco por las instalaciones mientras pensábamos que íbamos a hacer, yo lo primero que hice sinceramente fue ir al muelle y tomar fotos del lugar por que se veía realmente hermoso, el agua cristalina y limpia, había mucha gente pescado y se encontraban unos ingenieros en la zona, ya que aparentemente van a construir nuevas atracciones cerca.
We walked around the facilities while we thought about what we were going to do, the first thing I did honestly was to go to the pier and take pictures of the place because it looked really beautiful, the water was crystal clear and clean, there were many people fishing and there were some engineers in the area, as apparently they are going to build new attractions nearby.
Decidimos usar un kayak para mi hermano y mi primo mayor, y yo fui en bicicleta con mi otro primo, el recorrido para el kayak es por toda la orilla del lago, el cual comprende 8 hectáreas y pueden regresarse e ir nuevamente hacia el fondo, mientras que la bicicleta solo puede ir en una dirección hacia una bolla que marca el final navegable. El total de minutos es de 30 para cada recorrido, pero siento que es suficiente para divertirse un rato, ademas que el precio tampoco es muy elevado. En el restaurante nos guardan las pertenencia y cascos para que no se mojen en caso de caernos al agua, y un instructor nos explica como utilizar el kayak y la bicicleta, nos india las precauciones como usar el salvavidas y en caso de caer al agua hay un salvavidas que esta al pendiente de onde estemos para acercase en una lancha.
We decided to use a kayak for my brother and my older cousin, and I went by bike with my other cousin, the kayak tour is along the entire shore of the lake, which comprises 8 hectares and you can turn around and go back to the bottom, while the bike can only go in one direction to a ball that marks the navigable end. The total number of minutes is 30 for each tour, but I feel that it is enough to have fun for a while, plus the price is not too high either. In the restaurant they keep our belongings and helmets so that they don't get wet in case we fall into the water, and an instructor explains how to use the kayak and the bicycle, tells us the precautions like using the life jacket and in case we fall into the water there is a lifeguard who is on the lookout for us to approach us in a boat.
Once in the water it is a matter of learning quickly to use the pedals at the same time in our case, and in the case of the kayak to paddle together, it is a unique experience and too much fun, the truth is that we had an incredible time. We were also able to see some birds of the area, fish jumping around us and watch some groups of motorcyclists passing by on the road.

Al terminar nuestro recorrido por el lago, fuimos a tomar algunas bebidas al restaurante y ver a los pescadores, ademas de recorrer un poco a pie lo que nos faltaba del lugar, aunque no es muy grande tiene lo necesario para pasar un buen rato en familia.
At the end of our tour of the lake, we went to have some drinks at the restaurant and watch the fishermen, in addition to walk a little of what we were missing from the place, although it is not very big has what it takes to have a good time with the family.
Finalmente nos retiramos del lugar antes que oscureciera mucho mas, ya que íbamos a ir a otro lugar turístico.
Por lo tanto el malecón se lleva un 9/10 como destino turístico ideal, no le doy el 10 por que quizás hace falta un poco mas de atracciones o de un guía que nos hable un poco mas del lago, como y por que se hizo aquí y cuales son su proyectos a futuro.

Finally we left the place before it got much darker, since we were going to go to another tourist place.
Therefore the Malecon gets a 9/10 as an ideal tourist destination, I do not give it a 10 because perhaps it lacks a little more attractions or a guide to tell us a little more about the lake, how and why it was made here and what are their future projects.
