Hello, travelers on Hive! If you are looking for the best cafe in Bangkok then you shouldn't miss INK & LION Café.

Any place where coffee is made with care is a special place. Whoever drank artisanal brews knows how many twists and turns this black bean holds in its tiny body. When we were in Bangkok, we experienced heaven on earth. Of course, Thai food holds one cornerstone, although drinks certainly hold second. It comes as no surprise that such a gourmet paradise is home to many artisanal coffee shops. Today we want to take a closer look at the INK & LION Café, owned by a coffee and art enthusiastic duo.

Art and coffee are perfect for each other, especially in bright industrial spaces such as INK & LION Café. Obviously, both are on sale to take home, but also enjoy while sitting at the old Japanese school bench. Just like art is rotating, also coffee gets different brews here and there. We bet that the constant experiments and dedication make such a great cuppa. Needless to say, we absolutely loved our Thai - Brazillian blended ice coffee. It had all the nuttiness we wanted ending with a chocolate finish. In fact, it was just as their detailed menu described it. In the spirit of celebrating coffee, you won’t see any pumpkin spice and that sort of circus. What you’ll get is exceptional (hot or cold) coffee with optional milk.

In case you got a feeling that coffee is all you get at the INK & LION Café, keep reading. Anyone can order desserts prepared by the Size S Coffee & Bakery. Other drinks like Ella milk tea are also outsourced. Local teahouse Mali Ateli has specialized in a different direction and will keep tea lovers happy at the Café. What we liked were the rounded flavors of mellow red tea that expanded all the way to the floral notes. Possibly a modest honey addition helped to connect the blossoms, making it beyond delicious.

Shortly, we can confirm this little café is a gem that will make any hedonistic soul happy. Firstly, due to their exquisite offer focused on the highest quality possible. Secondly, we loved the peaceful yet relaxing atmosphere where we were able to admire the exhibition. Let’s not miss the kind staff that greeted us with a smile and kept us happy on our visit.
