El Paseo de la Historieta es un homenaje que hace la ciudad de Buenos Aires a varios personajes conocidos por los argentinos.

Desde San Telmo iniciamos nuestro recorrido por este circuito callejero que alberga hoy en día a más de 20 estatuillas en tamaño real de cada personaje, hechos en resina y fibra de vidrio.

En este recorrido aparte de encontrar a los personajes tambien pudimos ver otras cosas interesantes, como por ejemplo la casa donde vivió el creador de Mafalda, Joaquín Salvador Lavado, conocido como "Quino" y donde se dice le dio vida a la pequeña niña intelectual.

Lo puedes encontrar diagonal a la estatua de Mafalda, Manolito y Susanita más precisamente en la calle Chile 371.

From San Telmo, we started our tour around this street circuit that nowadays houses more than 20 life-size statuettes of each character, made of resin and fiberglass.

La escultura de Mafalda fue colocada en el 2009 y desde entonces se ha convertido en un símbolo de referencia para la visita a Buenos Aires, y es que si no te tomas la foto junto a Mafalda y su amigos, no estuviste aqui.

Para la foto nos tocó esperar unos 15 minutos en fila, son muchas las personas que hay delante de ti mirándote mientras te tomas la ansiada fotografía.😅

En los alrededores hay pequeñas tiendas donde venden souvenirs de todo lo referente a Mafalda.

Me da mucha risa ver esta foto donde me encuentro con mi esposo, fue premonitoria puesto que después de este viaje tuvimos una niña, tan inquieta y traviesa como la mismísima Mafalda.

Continuando con el paseo en busca de más esculturas, nos encontramos con Hijitus y Larguirucho, la verdad es que no conocía nada acerca de estos personajes, excepto Mafalda, pero cada uno tenía una pequeña placa donde se referencia al creador de dicho personaje, año y un buen detalle, te indica a cuántos metros se encuentran las estatuas más próximas.

La ventaja de que este paseo haya sido al aire libre es que en el camino nos topamos con varios bares y restaurantes, así que aprovechamos un barcito se nos cruzó en el camino y el clima nos invitaba a tomarnos una deliciosa y refrescante cerveza de barril.

Antes de comenzar el paseo nos detuvimos a comprar souvenirs en la feria de San Telmo, solo la realizan los días domingos y puedes conseguir desde llaveros hasta mate para llevar de recuerdo. Las calles son empedradas por lo que se recomienda ir con calzado cómodo.

The advantage of this walk being in the open air is that on the way we came across several bars and restaurants, so we took advantage of a little bar we passed on the way and the weather invited us to drink a delicious and refreshing draught beer.

Before starting the walk we stopped to buy souvenirs at the San Telmo fair, which is only held on Sundays and you can get everything from key rings to mate as a souvenir. The streets are paved so it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

Este hermoso recorrido finaliza en el Museo del Humor, ubicado en la Av. de los Italianos 851, Puerto Madero y la entrada es gratis los Lunes,Martes y Miércoles.

Dentro del museo se pueden observar obras litograficas y Caricaturas Originales de grandes artistas del humor gráfico argentino.

Además de esto, unas proyecciones en sala de cine de algunos de los capítulos más famosos de la adorable Mafalda.

Después de hacer este entrañable tour por el mundo de las caricaturas cerramos con una espectacular cena con el atardecer en Puerto Madero.
