// Best investment you've ever made?
Hello hello my Hive community, when we hear the word investment many people have the impression that living in such an unstable economy in which our country is immersed is something impossible and when I hear the pessimism of many people I remember a saying that one of my bosses told me while some cry others sell tissues, personally I find it very accurate, I believe that to get started in any type of business the hardest thing is always to take the first step, you can start with something tiny and grow step by step, it's amazing how this pandemic left more than one person with one hand forward and the other behind, many people have been consumed by the lack of initiative and instead I have seen many people undertake and in a short term get great results.
Me considero una persona con visión pues desde ya entre mi esposo y yo hemos puesto en marcha una planificación para obtener la llamada “libertad financiera” y aunque somos bastante jóvenes tenemos bien claro que los años pasan volando y si no tomamos carta en el asunto nuestra vejez puede pasar a ser una carga para nuestros hijos y es lo que menos queremos
I consider myself a person with vision because my husband and I have already started planning to obtain the so-called "financial freedom" and although we are quite young, we are very clear that the years are flying by and if we do not take action, our old age could become a burden for our children and that is what we least want.
Mi esposo es un excelente contador y todo lo relacionado con la planificación financiera es una de sus grandes habilidades , es de las personas que no se come la ganancia como solemos decir los venezolanos jajajajaja y me controla muchas veces porque a veces uno incurre en gastos que no le aportan más que un beneficio momentáneo
My husband is an excellent accountant and everything related to financial planning is one of his great skills, he is one of those people who does not eat the profit as we Venezuelans usually say hahahahahaha and he controls me many times because sometimes one incurs expenses that do not bring more than a momentary benefit.
Ahora respondiendo a la pregunta del desafío, puedo decir que he invertido en varias cosas, he comprado divisas que a pesar del efecto inflacionario que actualmente vive mi país Venezuela , me ha ayudado a mantener parte del efectivo puesto que es más que obvio que aquí ahorrar en bolívares es perdida completa, tuve la oportunidad de invertir en equipos electrónicos y me fue bastante bien puesto que cuando inició la cuarentena había restricciones y muchas personas compraban vía online y pudimos vender todo y nos quedó una buena ganancia la cual invertimos en comida y víveres , cada vez que se nos presenta una oportunidad de inversión la estudiamos y evaluamos si vale la pena asumir el riesgo o no , pero seguimos incursionando en diferentes áreas y como dicen por ahí perdiendo también se gana, en nuestro caso aprendimos con quien se puede hacer negocios y con quien no, que la reputación vale más que un precio de oportunidad
Now answering the question of the challenge, I can say that I have invested in several things, I have bought foreign currency that despite the inflationary effect that currently lives my country Venezuela, has helped me to keep part of the cash since it is more than obvious that here saving in bolivars is complete loss, I had the opportunity to invest in electronic equipment and I did quite well since when the quarantine began there were restrictions and many people bought online and we could sell everything and we had a good profit which we invested in food and groceries, Every time we are presented with an investment opportunity we study it and evaluate whether it is worth taking the risk or not, but we continue to venture into different areas and as they say out there losing also wins, in our case we learned with whom you can do business and with whom not, that the reputation is worth more than an opportunity price.
Pero sin duda alguna la mejor inversión que hemos realizado la hicimos al comprar un inmueble hace 3 años pagando para ese entonces en bolívares, recuerdo que fue un año muy duro, donde muchas personas tomaron la decisión de emigrar y en algunos casos remataban sus propiedades, actualmente el mercado inmobiliario se cotiza en moneda extrajera y para el ciudadano de a pie el valor de ese apartamento es un monto que resulta difícil y hasta lamentablemente imposible reunir a causa de la grave crisis económica que se vive en país, motivo por el cual lo considero una de mis mejores inversiones
But undoubtedly the best investment we have made was when we bought a property 3 years ago paying at that time in bolivars, I remember it was a very hard year, where many people made the decision to emigrate and in some cases auctioned their properties, now the real estate market is quoted in foreign currency and for the ordinary citizen the value of that apartment is an amount that is difficult and even unfortunately impossible to meet because of the severe economic crisis in the country, which is why I consider it one of my best investments.
Considero que tenemos mucho que aprender y desaprender también, el conformismo y la falta de iniciativa son nuestros más grandes enemigos en muchos de nuestros proyectos y objetivos, muchos de nosotros nacimos y crecimos en familias de origen humilde pero esto no es determinante para crecer y ofrecerle un futuro mejor a nuestra familia
I believe that we have a lot to learn and unlearn as well, conformism and lack of initiative are our greatest enemies in many of our projects and objectives, many of us were born and raised in families of humble origins but this is not a determining factor to grow and offer a better future to our family.
