Blogging challenge Day 9: Best trip of my life

I'm here again to share the best trip of my life and the experiences I had. I hope you'll enjoy it as you will be reading.

So it was on a faithful Friday sometime ago last year in the month of November. My church had organized a program in our sister's church @ Abuloma in the city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The program lasted for three days (i.e) Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Announcements were made and everyone prepared themselves well.

In order to arrive there early that Friday so as to attend the program on time and be at my duty post as a chorister we left at about 2pm and we arrived there safely on time.

The church members there accepted and welcomed us well. Not too long after the acceptance, we program kick-started. It was a rewarding and a wonderful experience in the house of God.

The second day which was Saturday came, there was nothing to do, so we prayed and had a time to share and discuss the word of God. We were served breakfast and later in the afternoon, my choir director took us out for a stroll at the sea port side.

We walked together, gisted and we saw ships and canoes and people traveling to and fro for different occasions. At first I was surprised to see that people actually felt comfortable to travel on water without being scared of anything.

I was afraid so I stood afar where the sea was and watch people do their business and travel. I wasn't the only one who was afraid, my colleagues too we're afraid.

We took pictures, gisted, laughed and ate together as a family while we watch what was going on there at the sea port.

In the evening, we went back to the hostel we were given in order to prepare for the evening program. The program was successful and God was given the Glory.

On Sunday which was the final day came and we attended service there and left after service. That was my first time of going to port Harcourt and seeing the river as big as that of Abuloma.

It was a great and wonderful experience and I enjoyed myself really good.
Thank you for reading and for your time, I appreciate.

Love y'all 😘😘😘
