Hive power up Day 🎉. Blogginchallenge Part.1 day 27| El momento mas difícil de mi vida 😌 The most difficult moment of my life 😤

Perdí la esperanza
I lost hope

When my mom almost went blind and lost the vision in both eyes, I felt that my mom's life and mine would change forever, when I read the question of this challenge, this moment was the first that came to my memory.

To think that one day you can be the happiest person of all and in a moment be the most unhappy, thank God it was just that a moment that lasted 3 weeks between which I cried, I begged God and men for help, I lost my faith and thanks to the words of a woman I renewed it and I was filled with faith, hope, peace and then happiness to find help among my family and friends and be able to pay for the operation that gave back the light to my mother's eyes.

I imagine that you will wonder what words were so shocking that gave me back my faith, I will tell you the facts so that you can understand what that moment was like.

¿A dónde vamos a ir?

Gracias, hoy me despido diciendo solo gracias.

Question 27: A difficult moment in your life.

My mother and I were 7 p.m. in a hospital in the capital of Venezuela at the time it was for national hospital and only attended emergencies, we arrived at 6 p.m. after traveling for 3 hours to get to the hospital. After traveling for 3 hours to get to the hospital, when we exposed the case we were attended by the specialist doctors where they told me that they had the resource of special machines, trained doctors but "NO" with the surgical materials for the operation, they gave me a list of 200 people ahead of my mother who was waiting for the same operation but most of them were already blind and hopeless, the solution that they proposed to me was to donate the resources that were worth thousands of dollars; my mother had already a week that presented the symptoms and if she waited another week there would be nothing to do.

Once the doctors gave me their diagnosis, retinal detachment of both eyes, I left the office out of sight of my mother and the doctors, I collapsed on the floor and began to cry inconsolably, then a woman came up to me and lifted me off the floor and hugged me. A stranger I had never seen before, when I stopped crying she asked me what was wrong and advised me not to lose hope, then my mother came out and asked me what are we going to do? Where are we going to go? I answered that I was not worried about that, we could sleep sitting in the emergency room, that nothing would happen to us, actually sleeping outdoors was the last thing that could worry me at the moment, The young woman overheard the conversation and asked us where we were from, and if we had nowhere to go.

That night she gave us lodging in her humble house, which was on the top of a hill, also far from the city, she gave us shelter and food, my mom slept like never before, she had microsurgery to try to hold the thread of her retinas and it was a priority to rest and yet to get to the hospital she climbed stairs, ran down, rode the subway which in Caracas is quite a challenge. That night I could not sleep at all, but my hope was renewed and the next day I faced life with a different attitude and the results did not take long to arrive. I do not remember the words of that woman with accuracy, only the feeling that I had fallen a bath of freshwater, her words and actions gave me back hope in people and the mercy of God.

My mother had suffered retinal detachment of both eyes, whose operation is extremely expensive that not even selling the house, the car, or applying for a bank loan we could afford the cost of that operation.

After the operation, she had months of rest, and today thanks to God she can see, with the help of glasses, but she recovered 90% of her vision, a miracle of God and science. This was a difficult moment where I learned unimaginable things, roads traveled and places were never seen, those details will stay with me because the important thing is that this moment taught me that hope is the last thing you can lose.

Thank you, today I say goodbye saying only thank you.
