¿Qué es el amor?
This remind me when back in the first semester my teacher asked "What is art?" I had no idea... he did it again in the last semester, I still no idea, the same with love. All I can do is to guess.
Esto me recuerda cuando en primer semestre el profesor preguntó ¿Qué es el arte? Y no tenía idea... Hizo lo mismo de nuevo en el último semestre, todavía ni idea, lo mismo con el amor. Lo único que puedo hacer, es adivinar.
Love is a feeling, I can say that, and as a feeling is something you feel, no matter what, there is a certain kind of actions or relations that can awake love, but there is not a recipe for make somebody to feel it or make them stop feeling it.
Love is a match of different other feelings and actions such as friendship, happiness, concern, taking care, understanding, being supportive, putting other person safety and interest as a priority, not over yourself tho, but you will help as soon as possible and with all you can. Some times is so big that you can actually put the other person over yourself but that's not always healthy.
El amor es un sentimiento, puedo decir eso, y como un sentimiento es algo que sientes, pase lo que pase, hay cierto tipo de acciones o relaciones que pueden despertar el amor, pero no hay una receta para hacer que alguien lo sienta o deje de sentir
El amor es una combinación de diferentes sentimientos y acciones como la amistad, la felicidad, la preocupación, el cuidado, la comprensión, el apoyo, poner la seguridad y el interés de otras personas como una prioridad, no por encima de ti mismo, pero ayudarás lo antes posible y con todo lo que puedas. Algunas veces es tan grande que puedes poner a la otra persona encima de ti, pero eso no siempre es saludable.
Love can´t be forced, even if you love and care it will not make other person love you... I've been in the "other person" place, somebody loved me and intellectually I should have loved him back but I just didn't, I couldn't love him, I felt friendship, It was funny, but not romantic love and I had "reasons" but that's not how it works, not for me, I don´t know if other people fall in love just for actions that seem like should have love as a response.
El amor no puede ser forzado, incluso si amas y te preocupas, no hará que otra persona te ame ... He estado en el lugar de la "otra persona", alguien me amaba e intelectualmente debería haberlo amado, pero simplemente no lo hice, no podía amarlo, sentía amistad, era divertido, pero no sentí amor romántico y tenía "razones" pero no es así como funciona, no para mí, no sé si otras personas se enamoran solo por acciones que parece que deben tener amor como respuesta.
I thing love is different for English speakers and Spanish speakers, because we in Spanish don´t use "love" all the time, I don´t say "I love you" to a person I just like or to friends, in English is too easy to say "I love you" because it doesn´t have that heavy meaning as a "Te amo", don't get me wrong, I know "I love you" also have a deep meaning, but we have other words for different deeps of love, "te quiero", "te amo", "te adoro" and technically there are translations but the use is not the same
Creo que el amor es diferente para los angloparlantes y los hispanohablantes, porque nosotros en español no usamos "amor" todo el tiempo, no le digo "te amo" a una persona que me gusta o amigos, en inglés es Demasiado fácil decir "I love you" porque no tiene un significado tan pesado como un "te amo", no me malinterpreten, sé que "I love you" también tiene un significado profundo, pero tenemos otras palabras para diferentes profundidades de afecto.
