The Hive Blockchain is ecstatic today after winning a prestigious award at a Blockchain event in Amsterdam. Hive beat off many competitors to be finally awarded the Most Gullible Blockchain Award in 2025 after funding many projects in countries who are on the crypto blacklist. Countries such as Nigeria and Venezuela are known hotbeds for scamming activity but the Hive Blockchain embraced these countries and decided that these folk could do with a few crypto tokens to fund their projects. Recent winners of the "Gullible Award " went to the Luna Blockchain but Hive has outdid itself over the past 2 years. Finally Luna can hand over their coveted title to a newcomer to the contest.
Hive fought off stiff competition against some organisation's that purchased the Hawk Tuah girls official token and were then rugged but the final nail in the coffin or in Hive's case was the recent Distriator case of fraud where it turns out one of Hive's Golden Boys was in charge of an elaborate scam with some shops not even aware of what Hive keychain was.

So imagine the shock and surprise when an image of a homeless bum with a forced smile buying washing powder out a kitchen window of a "business" and posting it on Hive. So Adebayo wasn't buying washing powder from Abdullahi????? WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO IF THIS IS NOT A REAL TRANSACTION??????? We may as well just all give up and go home!
The Most Gullible Judges did take interest into one place in particular. "The Happy Customer Supermarket" in Lagos which was one of the supermarkets signed up for HBD payments. But their opinion was that the Supermarket was not that happy. The photos the customers had taken of their happy spendHBD experience was anything but happy. It looked liked they were all particularly sad and some looked like they had a gun to their head. So the judges called in an facial recognition expert to see what these expressions meant. The expert decided these people were not happy customers at all. Quite the opposite , they were sad. Most of them looked like they didn't want to be there. When put through AI it resulted in a really niche result of what the facial expression was.

The experts had to study whether Nigerians just don't like grocery shopping but they were happy to see a major cultural change. Nigerian men are now doing more grocery shopping. This was a no no only just a few years ago. For years Nigerians pushed for the female to do all the cleaning , cooking and shopping but with this sample size it can be argued that there is a major cultural shift and this is all going on in the microcosm of the Happy Customer Supermarket. Now by the looks of the photos, these geezers don't want to be there and it could well be argued that it is because they do not want their photo taken because they are embarrassed to go grocery shopping. The wife wears the trousers but they do not want to broadcast it as such. Maybe so and rather than go off on a tangent the judges decided that it was not a very happy customer being made pose for photos. Together with the other DHF spending Hive had won it.
To collect the prize Hive flew their usual "I love Hive and I am not getting paid" conference presenter stalwart with her 86 HP in her wallet to collect the Most Gullible" prize. In her speech she doubled down that Nigerian and Venezuela have great people and Hive will continue to spend there as long as she has anything to do with it. She had to split because she was representing another blockchain at the "Most Naïve" awards later that night.
As part of the award ceremony the judges explained that cryptocurrencies that are run by primarily developers are susceptible to scams. Devs have very limited social interaction and are normally kept away from direct sunlight as they might burn. These guys have brains to burn but when it comes to social intelligence there is aa deep failure. They do not know the streets. Cryptocurrencies can be complicated so the streets and crypto do not collide. Cross blockchain bridges, Perps, Options Trading all a bit too complicated for the streets. This is until the streets can earn cryptocurrency by taking a photo of a ladybird and writing a few words of native language or buying a few beers in a supermarket for crypto. The streets are in and they gonna eat. They act all nice and loveable but they are robbing you blind while staring you in the eyes and telling you otherwise. Once they take your eyes they come back for your eyebrows and all of a sudden you are 5 cent a token. Hive gots-to wisen up. They are being taken for a ride.

7k is a big number per month. Nonetheless, I don't think that money is worth putting somebody's reputation on the line.
Though I was not actually surprised by the results of my investigation. I'm actually disgusted by the fact that these type of people keep spoiling the name of my country. Welp, I can't do anything but to expose such rascalities. I'm glad I did. I have no regret of exposing it and I would expose any scam I see without feeling any remorse.
