I haven't seen the actual expansion for D&D 5e, but I'm familiar with the series and the theme (gotta love Penny Arcade). My guild concept is a little more like a penny-pinching, bureaucratic corporation started to make money off of adventurers (rather than a company started by said adventurers) and whose mindset is that any collateral damage or destruction from their activities is someone else's problem. Kinda like if Mr. Burns from "The Simpsons" was dropped in a fantasy setting to run a business. 😈
