It's as if life becomes simpler when I'm facing the horizon, and everything that seems complicated in the daily routine dissolves in the foam left by each wave.
Very different from the deafening noises of the city, the sea has a nostalgic murmur that embraces. What's more, when I walk along the shore, I feel that the sound of the waves has a rhythm that accompanies me, as if it reminded me that each day brings a new tide, a new opportunity.
Sometimes I just stare at the water, and that simple act is enough to organize my thoughts. It's funny, but in the midst of so much movement I find my peace.
I love sunsets on the beach, because the sea turns golden, and everything seems softer, calmer. It is the time when, when we are as a family, we sit together, watching the day say goodbye.
I remember one occasion when @elisabethswan, her husband and daughter, my husband, my child and I, sat on the edge of the beach, almost knee-deep until the sun went down completely and the sea became dark. A nearby set of lights pirouetted on the tips of the waves. It is a shame not to preserve any photographs of that magical moment on Cunagua beach, in Morón. Doy las gracias a @iriswrite por esta amable invitación y antes de adentrarnos en el tema, quisiera animar a @mariatd y a @elisabethswan a que abran sus corazones y nos dejen entrar a sus lugares vitales.
Desde pequeñita he tenido una conexión idílica con el mar. Hay algo en su inmensidad, en ese movimiento constante de las olas, que me calma y me devuelve a mí misma. Prefiero el mar antes que cualquier otro lugar porque allí encuentro la mezcla perfecta entre libertad, silencio interior y alegría compartida. Es como si la vida se volviera más sencilla cuando estoy frente al horizonte, y todo lo que parece complicado en la rutina cotidiana se disolviera en la espuma que deja cada ola.
Muy distinto a los ruidos ensordecedores de la ciudad, el mar tiene un murmullo nostálgico que abraza. Es más, cuando camino por la orilla, siento que el sonido del oleaje tiene un ritmo que me acompaña, como si me recordara que cada día trae una nueva marea, una nueva oportunidad.
A veces solo me quedo mirando el agua, y ese simple acto me basta para ordenar mis pensamientos. Es curioso, pero en medio de tanto movimiento encuentro mi paz.
Me enamoran las puestas de sol en la playa, porque el mar se vuelve dorado, y todo parece más suave, más tranquilo. Es el momento en que, cuando estamos en familia, nos sentamos juntos, mirando cómo el día se despide.
Recuerdo una ocasión en que @elisabethswan, su esposo e hija, mi esposo, mi niño y yo, nos quedamos sentados a la orilla de la playa, casi hasta las rodillas hasta que el sol se ocultó por completo y el mar se volvió oscuro. Un juego de luces cercano hacía piruetas en las puntas de las olas. Es una lástima no conservar ninguna fotografía de aquel momento mágico en la playa de Cunagua, de Morón. Solo puedo decir que en momentos así, hay una complicidad bonita que se crea entre nosotros, una especie de gratitud compartida por poder estar allí, respirando sal, sintiendo el viento, sin necesidad de palabras.
Estar en la playa con mi familia me recuerda lo esencial: que la vida es movimiento, pero también pausa; que necesitamos reír, jugar, escuchar el sonido de las olas y dejar que el tiempo corra sin controlarlo.
Me gusta pensar que cada visita al mar nos renueva un poco, que nos limpia de las preocupaciones y nos deja listos para seguir, más ligeros, más unidos.
Por eso elijo el mar una y otra vez. Porque me da paz cuando la necesito, porque me devuelve a lo importante, porque me enseña a soltar. Pero, sobre todo, porque me regala momentos con mi familia que valen más que cualquier otra cosa en la vida.
