Привіт всім у спільноті.
Скоро свято, яке люблять всі діти. День Святого Миколая з цього року відзначаємо 5 грудня. В Європі, до речі, теж святкують цієї дати. Головний персонаж має інше ім'я, але суть та ж - вітання і подарунки для дітей. Та і дорослі не проти отримати якийсь презент 🙂.
Зазвичай, Святий Миколай приносить солодощі, які кладе під подушку слухняним дітям. Попри це, інколи ми очікуємо чогось суттєвішого, чом би й ні!?
У Нідерландах до дітей приходить Синтерклаас. Цей персонаж, як і Святий Миколай, має глибоку історію. Він припливає в країну із сонячної Італії, напередодні свята, щоб всім дітям встигнути віддати їх подарунки. Цікаво, що свої листи з побажаннями діти віддають батькам, які передають їх Синтерклаасу, бо він приймає їх лише від дорослих. Все продумано! 😁
Дуже незручно, коли головний гість свята на порозі, а ялинка ще не прикрашена. Справа в тім, що від місцевого муніципалітету діти отримують презенти до свята. Вчора прийшли до моїх сусідів, а вони не встигли прикрасити дерево, бо чекають іграшки, які повинні прийти по пошті.
Незважаючи на це, діти отримали все, що їм принесли. А це цілі мішки! Я була приємно здивована, коли побачила. При чому, подарунки підібрані, відповідно до віку та статі. Маленький хлопчик отримав іграшки та конструктор, а дівчинка підліток - книгу, пазли і подарункову карту на 40 євро.
Сьогодні вже ялинка прикрашена. Нарешті дочекалися довгождану посилку з ялинковими іграшками. Тепер черга батьків класти свої подарунки🙂

The holiday that all children love is coming soon. This year we celebrate St Nicholas Day on 5 December. By the way, Europe also celebrates on this date. The main character has a different name, but the essence is the same - greetings and gifts for children. And adults don't mind getting some presents either 🙂.
Usually, St Nicholas brings sweets, which he puts under the pillow of obedient children. Nevertheless, sometimes we expect something more substantial, so why not!
In the Netherlands, children are visited by Sinterklaas. This character, like St Nicholas, has a deep history. He sails to the country from sunny Italy on the eve of the holiday to give all the children their gifts in time. It is interesting that children give their letters of wishes to their parents, who pass them on to Sinterklaas, because he only accepts them from adults. Everything is thought out!!!!
It's very inconvenient when the main guest of the holiday is on the doorstep and the Christmas tree is not yet decorated. The fact is that children receive presents for the holiday from the local municipality. "Yesterday we visited my neighbours, and they didn't have time to decorate the tree because they were waiting for toys to arrive in the mail.
Despite this, the children received everything that was brought to them. And these are whole bags! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. Moreover, the gifts were selected according to age and gender. A little boy got toys and a construction set, and a teenage girl got a book, puzzles and a 40 euro gift card.
Today the Christmas tree is already decorated. We finally received the long-awaited parcel with Christmas decorations. Now it's the turn of the parents to put their gifts....
