Трішки робочих буднів замість школи влаштовують місцеві жителі невеличкого села на заході України, де ми зараз знаходимось. Мої дівчата вирішили теж долучитись до прибирання вулиць в очікуванні весни і тепла, ще й погода тому посприяла. За цілий день жодного сигналу тривоги, і трішки відволіклись усі - допомогли позагрібати листя. Із усього приладдя, що нам виділили, були лише граблі для сіна. Але дівчат це дуже втішило. Вони вправно нагребли купку листя, яку потім мали б вивезти місцеві.

My girls also decided to join in cleaning the streets in anticipation of spring and warmth, and the weather helped. There was no alarm for the whole day, and everyone was a little distracted - they helped to rake the leaves. Of all the equipment we were given, there was only a rake for hay. But the girls were very pleased. They deftly piled up a pile of leaves, which then had to be taken out by the locals.
За той час до нас поприбігали купа котів, яких підгодовують місцеві селяни а тепер і ми. В нашій хаті є теж два коти, не те щоб я колись була собачником чи котячою мамцею, та мені шкода цих приблуд зараз настільки, як ніколи. Мали необережність погодувати їх біля порогу гостинної хати, де ми зараз знаходимось, і все - маємо друзів. Чи вони чиїсь, чи їх хтось залишив, виїжджаючи, невідомо. Та поки ділимось усім, що є в нас з меншими друзями.
During this time we were approached by a bunch of cats fed by local villagers, and now we are. There are two cats in our house too, not that I used to love dogs or cats, but I feel sorry for these homeless people now more than ever. We carelessly fed them on the doorstep of the guest house where we are now, and all - we have friends. But for now, we share everything we have with our younger friends.
У волонтерському штабі вдалось дістати навіть смаколики - корм для улюбленців. Тішились усі наче найдорожчому скарбу. А вони тільки і встигли попролазити крізь прочинені двері і осісти де тепленько. І чомусь мені здається, що вони з вдячністю повилазили на руки, а кому місця не дісталось то ті вмостились на батареї, і кучкуються з домашніми котами біля теплої грубки.
Volunteers even managed to get delicacies - pet food. Everyone rejoiced like the most precious treasure. And they only managed to get through the open door and sit down warmly. And for some reason it seems to me that they gratefully climbed into his arms, and those who did not get a place in their arms, they settled on the batteries, and huddled with domestic cats near a warm stove.
Дівчата тепер піклуються за ними як за рідними, і дуже тішаться. Така у нас тепер підтримка, психологічна, дуже корисна усім і мені і моїм дівчатам. Добро завжди перемагає зло і ми з нетерпінням чекаємо, коли в решті решт світло і любов переможе темряву. Слава Україні!
