Ця війна навчила нас цінити багато речей, які ми до цього не помічали у наших щоденних клопотах мирного життя: мирне небо над головою, нашу доблесну армію та інші речі. Але в першу чергу ці два вищеназвані величезні скарби. Не даймо собі забути про них знову після нашої Перемоги. Передаваймо із уст в уста, з покоління в покоління нашим дітям і близьким пам'ять про те, що у них є ці скарби і що вони зобов'язані їх цінити і пам'ятати про них, аби війна не мусила прийти знову на наші землі, щоби особисто нагадати про забуте...
ТИША
Крапля з рукомийника зависла...
Котик на подушці закуняв.
Знов запала тиша, мов зумисне, –
ніби береже початок дня.
Вранішнє бадьоре "кукуріку!"
жде тебе терпляче за дверми.
Воїнам, що б'ються без канікул,
маємо завдячувати ми
за досвітній промінь з мирних вікон,
за набряклий квітень на бруньках,
за хатин вцілілих білоцвіття,
за привітне гавкання Бровка.
За дівчат, що щуряться на сонце,
за сумирне небо в цім краю
кожна грудка вдячна оборонцям,
кожна бадилина кураю.
Вітер стиха грає на цимбалах,
мов прадавній знахар-ворожбит.
Тише, котра дише поміж балок,
наших охоронців бережи!

A drop from the sink hung ...
The cat on the pillow fell asleep.
Silence fell again, as if deliberately, -
as if saving the beginning of the day.
Morning cheerful "cock-a-doodle-doo!"
waiting for you patiently at the door.
Soldiers, who fighting without a vacation,
we have to thank
for the dawn ray from the peaceful windows,
for swollen April on the buds,
for the white flowers of the surviving country houses,
for the friendly barking of a dog.
For girls, who squint at the sun,
for a peaceful sky in this region
every lump of earth is grateful to the defenders,
every steppe blade of grass.
The wind quietly plays on cymbals,
like an ancient sorcerer.
Silense, which breathes between the ravines,
take care of our guards!
