Hello everyone! Today we had the last day of Maslenitsa, seeing off winter. All week long, everyone baked blini (pancakes), held festivities, went to visit.
In my city, they beautifully decorated the square, put up a stage, a pole, which is traditionally climbed for a prize, made a huge sculpture out of snow and places where they sold delicious food and drinks.
In the evening, the square looks especially beautiful: everything is illuminated by bright lights and spotlights.

Всем привет! Сегодня у нас был последний день Масленичной недели, проводы зимы. Всю неделю все пекли блины, устраивали гуляния, ходили в гости.
В моем городе красиво украсили площадь, поставили сцену, столб, на который по традиции взбираются за призом, сделали огромную скульптуру из снега и места, где продавали вкусную еду и напитки.
Вечером площадь особенно красиво выглядит: все подсвечивается яркими огнями и прожекторами.
