Привіт, шановні читачі. На початку війни думав, що десятки тисяч загиблих росіян приведуть до обурення в російському суспільстві. Пізніше думка змінилась: для невдоволення людей потрібні великі жертви, наприклад, 100 000 солдат та офіцерів. Та зараз вже не знаю, що думати, адже втрати у цій безглуздій війні дуже великі, а деякі люди продовжують підтримувати її чи просто спостерігати за подіями, неначе зберігаючи нейтралітет.
На одному з норвезьких телеканалів виступив Ейрік Крістофферсен, людина, яка керує Збройними силами Норвегії. Він заявив, що втрати живої сили з обох боків величезні. В Україні за час війни, починаючи з лютого минулого року, вбито і поранено більше 100 000 військових. В росії цей показник складає близько 180 тисяч. Та серед українців жертв більше, адже у війні гинуть мирні люди. За інформацією Крістофферсена, кількість жертв серед цивільних українців складає близько 30 тисяч. Звідки кількісні дані, Голова Збройних сил не пояснив. Інформацію про великі людські втрати з боку російської сторони підтвердив і американський генерал Марк Міллі. Він не назвав конкретних цифр, та сказав, що втрати росіян значно перевищують 100 тисяч.
Офіційні втрати за даними росії значно занижені. Генеральний штаб України звітує про знищення 120 тисяч. Навіть якщо включити в цю кількість загиблих з підрозділів Вагнера, в'язнів, яких росія, ймовірно, взагалі не рахує за людей, то кількість загиблих все одно дуже велика. Важко сказати, скільки повинно загинути росіян для того, щоб суспільство не тільки задумалось про наслідки, а й зробило певні кроки для припинення безглуздої війни. Можливо мова йде про сотні тисяч чи мільйони?
Війна закінчиться і дехто, можливо більше й більше людей чим я припускаю, зрозуміють, наскільки безглуздою вона була. Але хочеться, щоб це зрозуміли не потім, а саме зараз. Росіянам же якось треба усвідомити простий факт, що захист Батьківщини — це саме захист, тобто, відбиття ворога, який напав на рідну землю. Мені здається, що на росію ніхто не нападав. А те що відбувається зараз є звичайною агресією проти мирного населення.

But now I don't know what to think, because the losses in this senseless war are very high, and some people continue to support it or simply watch the events, as if maintaining neutrality.
On one of the Norwegian TV channels, Eirik Kristoffersen, the man who manages the Armed Forces of Norway, spoke. He stated that the loss of manpower on both sides was enormous. More than 100,000 soldiers were killed and wounded in Ukraine during the war, starting from February last year. In Russia, this figure is about 180,000. But there are more victims among Ukrainians, because peaceful people die in the war. According to Kristoffersen, the number of victims among Ukrainian civilians is about 30,000. The Chief of the Armed Forces did not explain where the quantitative data came from. American general Mark Milley also confirmed the information about large human losses on the part of the Russian side. He did not name specific figures, but said that the losses of the Russians significantly exceed 100,000.
According to Russian data, official losses are significantly underestimated. The General Staff of Ukraine reports on the destruction of 120,000. Even if we include in this number the dead from Wagner's units, the prisoners whom Russia probably does not consider as people at all, the number of dead is still very high. It is difficult to say how many Russians must die in order for the society not only to think about the consequences, but also to take certain steps to end the senseless war. Maybe we are talking about hundreds of thousands or millions?
The war will end and some, perhaps more and more people than I suspect, will realize how senseless it was. But I want it to be understood not later, but right now. The Russians somehow need to realize the simple fact that the defense of the Motherland is precisely defense, that is, repelling the enemy who attacked the native land. It seems to me that no one attacked Russia. And what is happening now is the usual aggression against the civilian population.
