This the smallest regional centre of #Ukraine with population of 115000 inhabitants./

The architecture and the atmosphere is typical European and because I arrived from #Hungary I felt myself like still there. Because the region belongs to Ukraine just from 1945 year. /
Архітектура та атмосфера відчувалася типова європейська , тому що я приїхав з Угорщини, і я відчував себе якби я досі там. Це все тому що місто належить до України досить недовго - з 1945 року.
A little of history:
Historical name - Ungvar.
The city was founded in 677 year when the fortress was built here .
From 895 - under Hungarian rule and from 1804 included into Astrian-Hunharian empire till 1919. The region of #Transcarpathia got independence but for short time and it was included into new founded Czechoslovakia republic with rights of autonomy. It was the golden period of time when all the ethnic groups - Hungarians, Slovaks, Rusyns (related to Ukrainians), Germans and Jews had equal rights and the same cultural development.
In 1945 the region was joined to USSR (Ukrainian Soviet Socialistic Republic) and in 1991 becomes a part of independent #Ukraine./

Історична назва - Унгвар.
Місто разом с фортецею засноване в 677 році. З 895 року під угорським правлінням і з 1804 включена до Австро-Угорської імперії і було ії частиною до 1919. Закарпатський регіон здобув незалежність на короткий час, але потім приєднався до новостворенної Чехословацької республіки на правах автомомії. Це був золотий період для регіону бо саме в цей час всі етнічні групи - угорці, словаки, русини(місцеві українці), ніці та євреї мали рівні права та рівні можлтвості для розвитку.
В 1945 році регіон включений до складу УРСР та з 1991 є частиною незалежної України.
Now the city is well developed comparing to other Ukrainian cities because many people from here posses EU citizenship (mostly Hungarian and Slovak) and they work or have business in Europe./
Зараз місто дуже розвинуте в порівнянні до інших українських міст саме тому що багато людей мають громадянство ЄС (здебільшого угорське та словацьке) і вони працюють або мають бізнес в Європі.
I visited #Uzhhorod in 2007 when I was 12 years old and it nice to come here again.
There is a pedestrian centre , a castle with museum inside and open air ethnographic museum with traditional rural houses./
Я відвідував #Ужгород в 2007 коли мені було 12 років і мені приємно сюди повернутися.
Тут є пішохідний центр , замок з цікавим музеєм всередені та етнографічний музей просто неба з традиційними сільськими хатинами.
There are well organized modern neighborhoods./
Сучасні райони мають дуже добрий благоустрій.

Так Ужгород гарне та цікаве місто! Хоча для мене рідний Виноградів (Севлюш варош), де я провів майже все дитинство! Дуже люблю Закарпаття!
На Закарпаттi я в дитинстві ще був у Мукачево та Берегово , замок та термальні води)
