RE: Night Photography for Beginners: Essential Tips and Techniques to Capture Stunning Night Shots

in Photographers3 months ago

It really shows that you are not evolving with the times. We have tools to create better blog posts. And it seems like you have never used AI to write anything. I simply don't go to AI and tell them to write me a blog post. I feed them all the information and then get the text corrected and written in a better way that it is SEO optimised. But apparently the brains of the Hivewatchers community is still living in the past and do not want the ecosystem to grow and attract more people from the outside. And that is clear. This is one of the reasons HIVE is stuck as it is and it's growth really stopped. Because the people in here are too worried in themselves, so you have a couple of people that have the stake making all the money in rewards and curation and so on, while the place is not friendly for creators that might want to look beyond just the posts inside!

Hey man. Do you know what AI does with this kind of material?

Original data produced by people is valuable. It's used to train AI. That's the only way AI can remain relevant. When someone produces AI generated content, that data is caught by AI and thrown away. Garbage in, garbage out. Whatever AI can already tell you, it doesn't need to know again, so there's no value there.

Because of this new technology, the value of original data skyrocketed. The internet was flooded with AI generated content. But the information on the internet is where AI gets its "brain". That flood doesn't make it any smarter. It's literally useless.

So you're saying you're evolving with the times. Technically, what you're presenting here is far behind.

I'm not taking a position on the situation you find yourself in here with the downvotes or whatever. Or what you think about the place and the people.

I just find the whole AI thing fascinating. If someone wanted to know this, they could just ask a chatbot. Far more convenient for the consumer. The SEO stuff doesn't help you. People search less and ask chatbots more now.

I do know how AI works. And at this point to be honest I am tired to debate this because they made it very clear that their point of view is the only that matters. I have tried to make my point. I have explained them that all the blog post is written by myself and put through the AI for verification and improvement of the text. I am not tell AI: " right me a blog post about X" and bang, copy past. I am feeding them the information that I want on the blog post myself and then get it written in a way that will create a nice blog post that if found by someone is appealing for them to read.

I AM NOT A WRITER. never been and never will be. I am an artist, I do photography and that's what I bring to the table. With my photography I like to share my little knowledge and my stories and experience. That I am doing it, and that is comes out way better when I get the help of AI to articulate in the proper way!

But as I said and as I was told by them. What I think and what I do, it doesn't matter because they have the stake in the community and they will silent me because they don't agree!

I am apparently an abuser in the community!!!!

me and my whole $600 estimate account value!!! LOL I am here "stealing" money and tricking people. Look how much have I stolen in almost 10 years being part of the community!!!! What an abuser I am right??? I am really tricking everyone to consume and curate my content!!!

I find it fascinating that you keep mentioning this $600 dollar value of your account as if you have barely earned at all. When historically you have earned a lot more than that. It's just that you sold over 90% of it

image.png

yes. Because I am an artist, and a content creator and believe it or not, I have to pay my bills! And there were times I needed to get money out so I would not become homeless. $9K in 10 years wow I really have been here tricking everyone and took a huge slice from the community in these 10 years of being a content creator in here! You are not bringing anything new to life. I have always been open about my power downs and I have always shared my situation and the reasons I had to do them! So yeah. $9K in almost 10 years.... what a fortune right?

Perhaps you are misconstruing what I am saying. I am not saying there is anything wrong with taking out what you earn. We have all done that.

The issue I am stating is that in the context you say your account value is $600 dollars it seems like you are suggesting this is all you have earned and you are just a little guy getting smacked down.

But you have earned far more. But I suppose saying I have only ever earned 32,000 Hive might not garner as much sympathy.

should I write a blog post: "How I made almost $9K in 10 years on hive and how I have been living a lavish life" lolololol sorry. My sense of humour is just like that. And also, I am not looking for any sympathy. Even if I was... I am just getting hate. Because even those who might have some sympathy, they would never say anything publicly for fear of repercussions! I am a simple poor man, trying to make a liv8ng of his art and content that creates online. And I "gave" 10 years to this community because I have always felt this was my home, and the main platform that I have created content for. Ups and downs I have never left! But I guess being blacklisted and called a chain abuser is that what I will be known for here here.

Well, it depends when you were selling, it might have been more than 9K 😀

But that is beside the point. I just wanted to point out that little bit about the 600 dollars account worth that was being mentioned.

I also don't think that outwith the discords you are being touted as a chain abuser and I am not piling on hate either.

And I think you might mean 8 years to this community... 😉

I was talking about AI. Not the situation you find yourself in. I thought I made that clear enough. No need to take it out on me. I'm not involved.

Look how much have I stolen in almost 10 years...

I'm only hearing about this now. I hope that's just sarcasm. Not sure why you asked me to look.

31529HP earned, putting you in the top 400. Only 369 accounts have earned more than you here.

May I offer you some advice?

sorry if it came out harsh! I was not coming for you in any way. It is just that this is very personal to me and gets me really upset! I work hard on my content to be rewarded scraps and I am still threaded like that. It is not a great feeling.

Yes please. I am open to listen to what others have to say.

Well you said it yourself just now. You're upset. I can see that. So for this situation you find yourself in, I'd recommend taking a step back. Try to calm yourself to the point you're able to stay calm. Clear your head. You'll be able to speak on the issues a little better at that point, and people are more likely to listen once you do that.

I've seen a few people blow up when being confronted for various issues on this platform. I'm sure you have as well. People will take one bad day and turn that into an entire month of bad days. Alienating others in the process. Destroying their brand. Blowing things out of proportion.

You say scraps, but I just pointed out you're in the top 400. See yourself as an achiever rather than a victim. Then others will, too.

i get your point and I totally understand. Thank you for the input like that. Well, I have never been on many people's good side in here. Because who has the stakes, who has the money. They are not content creators, they are not artists, and no matter how hard I try to understand and respect their point of view. They don't ever try to do the same. And although this ecosystem is meant to be a "social system" it was never like that for a lot of them. And through out the years I got in my shares of arguments here. I am not here to kiss ass for money. I am here because I do believe that the technology used has potential, so I believe in that. But I always come from the point of view of a "user" because that's what I am. I am not someone that has the financial meanings to invest, or the technological skills to develop. And hey, this is the ideal place for me, because I am someone that can create and bring that side of the social platform that HIVE was built on! But they don't care. So I totally understand what you mean, and I get that it might come to others as me behaving like a victim, but in this case, I am the victim actually. When you are accused os scamming people and abusing the system. When it is false! I am sorry. They want me to be a villain? I can also play that part.

Well. You do you. I could be wrong for thinking there's a better way to handle things so I'll just keep that part to myself.

I'll go try to find an interesting conversation about AI, elsewhere.

I use AI everyday for coding, but not creative writing. Can you imagine how boring 'Harry Potter' would be if written in AI?

Do you see my point.

there is no comparison. I am not writing fantasy stories. I am writing my own stories, with technical and local facts. It is meant to be informative and even educational. What I write is not creative writing. So no. I don't see your point. The same way you guys seem not not understand and see my point.

I'm not going argue with you, you know how it is on HIVE and you know what to do to fix it.

to fix it hivewatchers need to open up their minds and stop their witchhunt and alienating creators. That's how.

There's always Blurt, no downvotes there.

keep obsessing do your thing. My conscious is clean.

Plagiarizing robots is not creativity. Pointing out misbehavior is not a witch hunt.

I am not a robot... and I have suffered with their behaviours, daltono is a long term member of the community as well, he creates a lot of content for the platform. And he is a real person. He is not a robot. their ways to decide who is playing the system is very retrograde and needs to change! they are alienating a lot of creators from HIVE!

I didn't say, or even imply, you were a robot. You were trying to justify plagiarizing from robots. Plagiarizing robots is not creativity.

If English is not your first language, and you use AI-enhanced translation tools, that's one thing, but feeding prompts into a computer and then pretending the output is your own is another entirely.

If you want to be a better writer, the road to success requires practice. Shortcuts don't help you improve, they cripple you.
