Hola, Madres y Padres de la Comunidad #motherhood Nuestro abril se pintó del hermoso color azul en apoyo a las hermosas personas con TEA y sus familias.
Para mí es un gusto sumarme a esta campaña de apoyo y compartir con ustedes un poco de mi experiencia a través de la Iniciativa:
👉Iniciativa: El Día Mundial de Concienciación sobre el Autismo.
Estamos en un mundo diverso donde hay espacio para todos; sin embargo, aceptar las diferencias se vuelve un desafío.
Siempre Dios coloca en nuestro camino oportunidades valiosas de hacer el bien y ayudar a las personas, principalmente cuando se trata de casos especiales de madres y padres azules, personas que enfrentan diariamente desafíos con sus hijos con TEA. La vida me ha regalado la oportunidad de conocer muchas familias no solo por la carrera de Educación Especial, sino también a través de trabajos solidarios en algunas comunidades. He seguido de cerca sus historias y te puedo asegurar que estas familias, padres e hijos son personas que inspiran.
Escuchar sus historias, las luchas de una madre y un padre azul te deja un aprendizaje, te motiva a valorar la vida, a apreciar a las personas más allá de una condición.
Muchas personas no tienen idea de lo que es el autismo, lo confunden con enfermedad, usando etiquetas negativas para referirse a las personas con TEA, además de estar lejos de imaginar todos los desafíos que enfrentan estas bellas personas y sus padres en su día a día.
Hay muchas formas de apoyar esta causa, principalmente difundiendo la información para generar conciencia. Se trata de mostrar a la sociedad que estas vidas son valiosas, personas con grandes potenciales que tienen derechos como todos los seres humanos.
Una de mis recomendaciones es empezar por nosotros mismos, es decir, educarte sobre el TEA para que puedas comprender el tema, aunque es muy extenso. Hubo un tiempo en mi vida en el cual no tenía idea de qué era el autismo y tuve una idea equivocada. Por esta razón es importante aclarar dudas.

Hello, Mothers and Fathers of the #motherhood Community Our April was painted the beautiful color blue in support of the beautiful people with ASD and their families. For me, it is a pleasure to join this campaign of support and share with you a bit of my experience through the Initiative: 👉Initiative: World Autism Awareness Day. We are in a diverse world where there is room for everyone; however, accepting differences becomes a challenge. God always places in our path valuable opportunities to do good and help people, mainly when it comes to special cases of blue mothers and fathers, people who face daily challenges with their children with ASD. Life has gifted me with the opportunity to meet many families not only through the Special Education career, but also through solidarity work in some communities. I have followed their stories closely and I can assure you that these families, parents and children are inspiring people.
Listening to their stories, the struggles of a blue mother and father leaves you learning, it motivates you to value life, to appreciate people beyond a condition. Many people have no idea what autism is, they confuse it with disease, using negative labels to refer to people with ASD, besides being far from imagining all the challenges these beautiful people and their parents face in their day to day lives. There are many ways to support this cause, mainly by spreading information to generate awareness. It is about showing society that these lives are valuable, people with great potentials who have rights like all human beings. One of my recommendations is to start with ourselves, that is, educate yourself about ASD so you can understand the topic, although it is very extensive. There was a time in my life when I had no idea what autism was and I had the wrong idea. For this reason it is important to clarify doubts.
💙Interactuando con personas con TEA a través del Proyecto : Iniciativa Cristina Dios es Mi Refugio💙
Cuando tienes la oportunidad de conocer a una familia azul, tu corazón se queda cautivado con tantas experiencias. Hace poco integré al proyecto a la Familia Herrera, una hermosa familia integrada por dos niños con condición autista.
El día que me entreviste con la madre de estos hermosos niños, quedé fascinada con su dedicación y compromiso por el bienestar de sus pequeños. La señora Edith es una madre trabajadora que distribuye su tiempo para estar al día con sus pequeños. Al ser madre de tres niños pequeños, dos de ellos con condición autista, los desafíos son parte de su día a día.
Ese día, mientras entrevistaba a la señora Edith, tuve la oportunidad de conocer a sus pequeños: el hermoso príncipe Johan, de 10 años, con autismo grado 3, un pequeño amoroso, que extendió sus brazos para darme un abrazo, siempre sonriendo y expresando sus ideas. El corto tiempo que me han permitido compartir con este príncipe me dejó muchas enseñanzas. Cada niño tiene un potencial especial. Los niños con TEA son personas con muchas cualidades.
Su madre los trata a todos con el mismo amor que demuestra el pequeño Johan, la primera integración comienza desde el hogar. Conversar con él es interesante, es un niño muy inteligente que le gusta dibujar.
Sin dejar a un lado la hermosa relación que mantiene con sus hermanos Joshua y Gerald, este último con autismo grado 2.
El pequeño Gerald tiene 6 años y tiene un encanto especial, es tímido, pero si te acercas a él con mucho amor y paciencia, rápidamente empieza a mostrarte sus juguetes, aunque puede pasar rápido de la calma a la frustración mostrando la intensa batalla interna que lo arropa día a día.
Vivir estas experiencias te cambia la vida. La familia herrera estará en el programa por los próximos 6 meses y sé que habrá muchas interacciones con esta familia.
La señora Edith nos compartió muchas experiencias, principalmente el desafío económico a la que está sometida al tener dos niños autistas, ya que cada uno de ellos tiene una dieta diferente y hay días en los cuales no puede acceder a los alimentos recomendados por el especialista. Esa es otra realidad que muchos desconocen: que cada persona con TEA debe seguir una dieta y esta es una de las razones por las cuales he integrado a esta bella familia porque es una forma en la que puedo ayudar. Nuestros niños merecen una buena alimentación, gozar de buena salud; juntos, podemos hacer oír sus voces.

When you have the opportunity to meet a blue family, your heart is captivated with so many experiences. I recently integrated the Herrera Family into the project, a beautiful family with two children with autistic condition. The day I met with the mother of these beautiful children, I was fascinated with her dedication and commitment to the welfare of her little ones. Mrs. Edith is a working mother who allocates her time to keep up with her little ones. Being a mother of three young children, two of them with autism, challenges are part of her daily life.
That day, while I was interviewing Mrs. Edith, I had the opportunity to meet her little ones: the beautiful prince Johan, 10 years old, with autism grade 3, a loving little boy, who extended his arms to give me a hug, always smiling and expressing his ideas. The short time I was allowed to share with this prince left me with many lessons. Every child has a special potential. Children with ASD are people with many qualities, their mother treats them all with the same love that little Johan shows, the first integration starts at home. Talking to him is interesting, he is a very intelligent child who likes to draw.
Without leaving aside the beautiful relationship he has with his brothers Joshua and Gerald, the latter with autism grade 2.
Little Jerald is 6 years old and has a special charm, he is shy, but if you approach him with a lot of love and patience, he quickly starts to show you his toys, although he can quickly go from calm to frustration showing the intense internal battle that surrounds him day by day. Living these experiences changes your life. The Herrera family will be in the program for the next 6 months and I know there will be many interactions with this family.
Mrs. Edith shared with us many experiences, mainly the economic challenge she is subjected to having two autistic children, since each of them has a different diet and there are days when she cannot access the food recommended by the specialist. This is another reality that many do not know: that each person with ASD must follow a diet and this is one of the reasons why I have joined this beautiful family because it is a way in which I can help. Our children deserve good nutrition, good health; together, we can make their voices heard.
💙Adolescente con TEA Johander
Este chico de 13 años, dulce y lleno de energía, Johander nos demuestra que sí se pueden lograr grandes cosas a pesar de tener TEA.
El TEA no desaparece cuando se llega a la adolescencia, es una condición que acompañará a este chico toda su vida.
En lo personal, me deja sorprendida. A él le gusta escuchar sobre temas, aunque al estar cerca de él puedes tener la impresión de que no te presta atención, pero siempre me deja sorprendida con sus explicaciones.
Johander ha sido mi alumno en la escuela bíblica para Niños desde muy pequeño.
Al principio me costó un poco acercarme a él, con mucha paciencia fui integrándolo a las clases. Tanto para él como para mí fue difícil ese acercamiento, no quería por nada quedarse en el salón con los otros niños, hasta que finalmente el milagro ocurrió y ahora no quiere salir de la clase de niños, precisamente el trato que ha recibido de todos sus compañeros. Ahora siempre tiene algo que decir en clase, es muy amable, con sueños de ser un médico cuando sea grande.
Actualmente, es un chico muy independiente, atento, con mucho amor por la música.
Lamentablemente, ha sufrido mucho bullying en la escuela y por parte de miembros de su familia, y eso lo ha llevado a episodios muy difíciles.
Gracias al amor de sus padres y al apoyo de muchas personas, principalmente sus maestros, ha superado esos momentos y sigue adelante aprendiendo fútbol, su deporte favorito.

This 13 year old boy, sweet and full of energy, Johander shows us that great things can be achieved despite having ASD. ASD does not disappear when you reach adolescence, it is a condition that will accompany this boy all his life. Personally, he surprises me. He likes to listen about topics, although when you are close to him you may have the impression that he doesn't pay attention to you, but he always surprises me with his explanations.
Johander has been my student in the children's bible school since he was very young. At the beginning it was a little difficult for me to get close to him, but with a lot of patience I was integrating him to the classes. It was difficult for him as well as for me, he didn't want to stay in the classroom with the other children, until finally the miracle happened and now he doesn't want to leave the children's class, precisely because of the treatment he has received from all his classmates. Now he always has something to say in class, he is very kind, with dreams of being a doctor when he grows up.
Today, he is a very independent, attentive boy, with a great love for music. Unfortunately, he has suffered a lot of bullying at school and by members of his family, and that has led him to very difficult episodes. Thanks to the love of his parents and the support of many people, mainly his teachers, he has overcome these moments and continues to learn soccer, his favorite sport.

I didn’t even know children with ASD have a special diet to follow. This is something interesting and insightful I’ve learned.

My closest encounter with children living with ASD was in a school. During my time as teacher in the school, I got to know more about them. Like you stated, it is important that individuals understand them everything about ASD. This would solve the problem seeing them as outcasts. You are doing a great job.

Wonderful post, Siloe 💗 I wish more people understood autism and the struggles that children and their families experience as a result. There are so many beautiful aspects to it but it is a diagnosis that impacts far beyond the primary individual. My youngest is 11 years old and he is ASD, ADHD, has Sensory struggles, and is Demand Avoidant. Life is a veritable roller coaster. We go forward to fall back again... we appear to turn a corner only for another challenge to arise. Life can be exhausting but he is an absolute treasure! !LUV
