¡Hola, bienvenidos a mi blog!

Mothering Lessons: Teaching my Daughter Emily the value of Responsibility
Hello, welcome to my blog! It was 12 noon and, as usual, I went to pick up my kids from school. What I didn't expect was that the teacher would call me to tell me that Emily had tripped over a small vase and broke it.
I asked the teacher: how did this happen? Her response was: my daughter Emily walked by and accidentally tripped over a vase. She stressed that maybe she was going too fast. It crossed my mind that she was playing with her classmates running and that's why it broke.
I took a deep breath, because the last thing I wanted was for her to go to school and misbehave. I told the teacher not to worry, that I would buy the vase. My daughter Emily looked at me, she thought I was going to scold her or something, but I told her to be calm, that it wasn't her fault and that we were going to go together to buy the vase. She was content and smiled. She also told her classmates that I was the best. That filled me with joy and happiness, because as a mother, my priority is the happiness of my children. Material things can always be replaced.
The next day we went to downtown Barquisimeto, we entered the Mango Bajito store where I usually buy household items. There were vases of different sizes and designs.
The next day I took my daughter Emily to school. She went to the classroom and handed the teacher the vase. The teacher thanked us and explained that everything was done to keep order, care and keep the school nice. Finally, we did our duty. With this I think I taught her the value of responsibility, also the value of things no matter how simple they are. That's all for today, see you in the next post.
