Dejamos atrás el bullicio de la ciudad para sumergirnos en la tranquilidad de sus jardines; lo más impresionante subimos a comprar cosas escolares y
de tanta caminadera llegamos a respirar tranquila.
Today I was the perfect accomplice for a day of shopping with my princess, after walking, laughing and finding everything we were looking for, we needed a break before returning to our town, what better place than Parque del Este?
We left behind the hustle and bustle of the city to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of its gardens; the most impressive thing we went up to buy school things and
of so much walking we got to breathe easy.
Ver a mi hija correr por el césped, mientras yo disfrutaba de la sombra de los árboles, fue el mejor momento del día. Nos sentamos junto a la laguna a observar los patos y los caimanes, y el tiempo se detuvo. Esos instantes de calma y conexión con la naturaleza son los que realmente llenan el alma; luego hay un mural de agua y mientras veíamos nos tomamos fotos y ella me hacía pregunta es la mejor compañera que Dios me mandó.
Watching my daughter run through the grass, while I enjoyed the shade of the trees, was the highlight of the day. We sat by the pond watching the ducks and alligators, and time stood still. Those moments of calm and connection with nature are the ones that really fill the soul; then there is a water mural and while we watched we took pictures and she asked me questions, she is the best companion God sent me.
El parque del Este, nuestro oasis en la ciudad, es el cierre perfecto para un día lleno de recuerdos; teníamos tiempo sin venir y cada vez que venimos los disfrutamos ¡Recargar energías y volver a casa con el corazón contento! 😊
