Gusto en saludarlos queridos padres de esta maravillosa comunidad, espero estén bien al igual que sus pequeños, el día de hoy les comparto una actividad que se llevó a cabo esta semana en la escuela de mis hijos, donde se realizó una charla con los Bomberos de la Ciudad, para orientar a los niños que hacer en caso de un incendio u otro evento que los pueda poner en riesgo, la dirección del plantel solicito el apoyo de este cuerpo de seguridad, ya que hace un par de días, se originó una quema de basura en la parte de atrás del colegio, saliéndose de control las llamas, por lo que tuvieron que acudir los bomberos para apagar el incendio, los niños fueron desalojados de las instalaciones por prevención, ya que el humo estaba entrando a la escuela, las maestras nos llamaron para ir a buscar a nuestros hijos por esta situación imprevista.
Esta actividad estuvo excelente, ya que los niños fueron informados sobre las vías de escape que tenía la escuela, la forma como debían salir, la cual debía ser calmados y en fila uno detrás de otro, en el caso de incendio deben salir agachados para evitar el contacto directo con el humo, salir lo más rápido posible siguiendo las instrucciones de sus maestros. Además, hicieron un pequeño simulacro en caso de incendio, y también en caso de un temblor. Al finalizar la charla, los bomberos invitaron a los niños más pequeños de 1.er grado donde está inscrito mi hijo menor a ser bomberos por un día, por lo que los vistieron con trajes de bomberos y casco, ellos estuvieron muy emocionados de vestirse de bomberos y practicar como debía ser el desalojo de la institución.
Estas charlas y simulacros son muy importantes como medidas de prevención, ya que en ocasiones nuestros niños no saben cómo actuar durante un evento de este tipo, por lo que como representante me siento agradecida con el personal de la escuela y los bomberos, que acudieron tan amablemente a dictar la charla a todos los estudiantes, espero que como padres conversen con sus niños sobre este tema y soliciten este tipo de actividades también en los colegios de sus hijos, ya que el estar informado evita en gran medida hechos que lamentar, por ahora me despido de ustedes, nos sin antes recordarles que debemos enseñar a nuestros niños nuestros números de contacto, para que ellos los puedan dar en caso de una emergencia, hasta una nueva oportunidad.

At the end of the talk, the firefighters invited the younger children of 1st grade where my youngest son is enrolled to be firefighters for a day, so they dressed them in firefighter suits and helmets, they were very excited to dress up as firefighters and practice how the evacuation of the institution should be.
