Un gusto saludar a todas las mamis y papis de esta bella comunidad de Motherhood, en el marco de la celebración del Día Internacional de la Familia que se festeja todos los 15 de Mayo, es propicia la ocasión para agradecer por nuestros seres amados que forman parte de nuestro núcleo familiar, en especial nuestros niños. Como madre de dos hijos me siento bendecida por muchos motivos que nos brinda la maternidad, sentir el amor de tus hijos no tiene precio, responder a diario sus preguntas inocentes, y que te envuelvan con su energía casi inagotable para jugar pelota, correr, brincar, saltar es una etapa que nos agota a muchos padres cuando nuestros hijos están pequeños, pero en mi caso personal me siento más bien revitalizada, ya que mis hijos transforman mis días grises, en días de sol radiante, y me llenan de alegría con sus ocurrencias, que hacen que me olvide de algunas preocupaciones que como padres tenemos, y por eso siempre le doy siempre gracias a Dios por tenerlos en mi vida.
It is a pleasure to greet all the moms and dads of this beautiful community of Motherhood, in the framework of the celebration of the International Day of the Family which is celebrated every May 15th, it is a propitious occasion to give thanks for our loved ones who are part of our family, especially our children. As a mother of two children I feel blessed for many reasons that motherhood gives us, to feel the love of your children is priceless, to answer their innocent questions every day, and to be surrounded by their almost inexhaustible energy to play ball, run, jump, is a stage that exhausts many parents when our children are young, but in my personal case, I feel rather revitalized, since my children transform my gray days into days of radiant sunshine, they fill me with joy with their witticisms, which make me forget about some of the worries that we have as parents, so I always thank God for having them in my life.
Como he descrito en publicaciones pasadas, tengo 2 hijos varones, y aunque en mi segundo embarazo deseaba tener una hembra, Dios me envió otro varón, y para mí fue lo mejor que pudo haber pasado. Les cuento que mi hijo mayor se sintió tan feliz al enterarse de que venía en camino un hermano que recuerdo me dijo, ahora tendré con quien jugar con mis carritos mamá, ¡ ya quiero que mi hermanito nazca!. Ahí me di cuenta de que los planes de Dios son perfectos, desde que su hermanito nació, lo involucre en sus cuidados diarios, y así no se sintiera excluido, me ayudaba a darle el tetero, a pasearlo en el coche, a bañarlo, siempre bajo mi supervisión y la de su papá, y así empezaron a crear un vínculo de afecto muy lindo entre ellos.

I tell you that my oldest son was so happy when he found out that a brother was on the way, that I remember him telling me, now I will have someone to play with my toy cars, mom, I want my baby brother to be born already! That's when I realized that God's plans are perfect, since his little brother was born, I involved him in his daily care, so he did not feel excluded, he helped me to give him the bottle, to walk him to the car, to bathe him, always under my supervision and his dad, so they began to create a very nice bond of affection between them.
A pesar de que mis hijos tienen 5 años de diferencia, ellos se llevan muy bien, actualmente tienen 5 y 10 años, y más que hermanos son mejores amigos, comparten los mismos gustos, pueden pasar horas jugando con Legos creando una variedad de figuras, juegan con sus carritos, y hacen pistas por todo el apartamento disfrutando de sus carreras, y hasta medallas usan cuando ganan. Ellos son muy creativos, les encanta dibujar, mi hijo mayor dibuja muy bien los personajes de video juegos y comiquitas, y su hermanito tiende a imitarlo, haciéndolos muy parecidos. Comparten el mismo amor por el deporte, les encanta correr bicicleta juntos y compiten entre ellos, juegan fútbol cada vez que pueden con sus amigos, y se divierten viendo comiquitas en su cuarto en las noches, pudiendo escuchar muchas veces sus risas que me invitan a disfrutarlas con ellos.

Por lo que me siento afortunada que mis hijos sean todo lo contrario, su papá y yo les hemos enseñado a compartir todo desde pequeños, no me gustan que sean egoístas entre ellos.

Por lo general, los hermanos menores tienden a imitar a sus hermanos mayores, por lo que siempre aconsejo a mi hijo mayor a dar un bien ejemplo a su hermanito, es importante reforzarle los valores y buenos modales, el mostrar respeto a los mayores, ayudar en las labores del hogar, mantener su cuarto ordenado, a levantarse y acostarse temprano durante la semana que tienen colegio, a dar las gracias, decir por favor, saludar y despedirse son hábitos que siempre les he recalcado desde que estaban pequeñitos.

No les voy a negar que en ocasiones han tenido diferencia de opinión, por ejemplo cuando van a ver una película y no se logran poner de acuerdo, escribo los nombres de las películas que quieren ver en dos papelitos y sorteamos, la que salga primero es la que ven y la otra después; así mismo pasa cuando van a jugar en la computadora cada quien tiene un horario para pasar el mismo tiempo jugando, y deben respetar el turno de cada quien; cuando toca hacer tareas, me siento con los dos a orientarlos en sus actividades escolares, ya que para mí es importante que sientan el mismo trato, el mismo amor y la misma dedicación, puesto que como madre los amo a los dos por igual y siempre se los digo, para mí ambos son mis preferidos.

Me parece muy acertada la forma en que involucraste a tu hijo mayor en las actividades de crianza del menor. Así no se siente desplazado por el recién llegado sino, que por el contrario se va a sentir orgulloso de haber colaborado en esas tareas. Saludos
Si amigo mi hijo mayor acababa de cumplir 5 añitos cuando nació su hermanito, y estaba tan emocionado que no se despegaba de la cuna.
