Hola mamis y papis de esta bella comunidad, feliz de pasar por aquí y contarles que este fin de semana pasado me di una escapadita en familia a Macuto estado la Guaira Venezuela.
Hello moms and dads of this beautiful community, happy to stop by and tell you that this past weekend I took a little family getaway to Macuto, La Guaira state, Venezuela.
Desde hace diez años vivo en caracas y nunca me había entusiasmado ir a la playa en la guaira porque como en mi Rio Caribe Natal del Estado Sucre de dónde vengo ir a la playa resulta algo muy fácil ya que esta me queda casi al frente de mi casa solo debo caminar unos 15 minutos y ya llegue, en cambio acá es un poco más complicado ya que como no tengo vehículo debo tomar unos dos autobuses para llegar, y llevarme si no quiero gastar todo lo que comeré durante mi estadía en la playa, pensar en todo esto me parecía muy complicado luego llego la pandemia y complico las cosas aun más las cosas.
I have been living in Caracas for ten years and I have never been excited about going to the beach in La Guaira because in my native Rio Caribe del Estado Sucre, where I come from, going to the beach is very easy since it is almost in front of my house, I only have to walk about 15 minutes and I'm there, But here it is a little more complicated because as I have no vehicle I have to take two buses to get there, and if I do not want to spend, I have to take everything I will eat during my stay on the beach, thinking about all this seemed very complicated then the pandemic came and complicated things even more.
A mi niña Lorelei, la lleve de apenas meses a Rio Caribe y a Juan Andrés mi bebe nunca ha ido a Rio Caribe, ya que por temas económicos no he podido, mi deseo era que pudieran conocer la playa en donde nací y crecí pero sale algo costoso irnos los 4 al estado Sucre.
I took my daughter Lorelei, just months old, to Rio Caribe and Juan Andres my baby has never been to Rio Caribe, because of economic issues I have not been able to, my wish was that they could know the beach where I was born and raised but it is somewhat expensive to go the 4 of us to Sucre state.
Los niños estaban muy pendientes de que están de vacaciones y nada que mamá y papá los llevan a ningún lado, hace como un mes Lorelei se levantó muy emocionada y nos despertó diciendo que despierten hoy nos vamos a la playa, yo le dije hijita hoy no vamos a la playa, hay que planificar eso, y se puso triste, pensé que tal vez este era tanto su deseo que debió soñarlo y por eso despertó así, me dio tristeza y comencé a pensar en cómo hacerlo posible, una compañera del trabajo había salido de vacaciones y me dijo que alquilo un pequeño apartamento en Macuto, que este estaba muy bien acondicionado y el edificio donde estaba tenia piscina. Y cerca quedaban varias playas.
The children were very aware that they are on vacation and nothing that mom and dad take them anywhere, about a month ago Lorelei woke up very excited and woke us up saying: wake up today we are going to the beach, I told her daughter today we are not going to the beach, we have to plan that, and she got sad, I thought that maybe this was so much her desire that she must have dreamed it and that is why she woke up like that, I felt sad and started to think about how to make it possible, a colleague from work had gone on vacation and told me that she rented a small apartment in Macuto, that it was very well conditioned and the building where she was had a swimming pool. And there were several beaches nearby.
Me gustó mucho la idea y me fui y hable ese mismo día con el dueño del apartamento, y reserve, llegue a casa feliz con la noticia, pero a mi esposo le pareció que estaba gastando mucho dinero, pero yo seguí con mis planes. Y reserve las noches del viernes y sábado.Pensando en que al salir del trabajo podíamos salir directo para allá y pasar una tarde de piscina, y el sábado con clama salir a la playa.
I really liked the idea and I went and talked that same day with the owner of the apartment, and booked, I arrived home happy with the news, but my husband thought I was spending too much money, but I continued with my plans. I booked Friday and Saturday nights, thinking that when we left work we could go straight there and spend an afternoon at the pool, and on Saturday we could go to the beach.
Me fui emocionada a una tienda y compre los flotadores, porque mi niño Juan Andrés me dijo mamá no podemos ir a la playa sin estar protegidos con nuestros flotadores, pues él en sus comiquitas ve que los niños usan sus flotadores para nadar.
I went excitedly to a store and bought the floats, because my boy Juan Andres told me mommy we can't go to the beach without being protected with our floats, because in his comics he sees that children use their floats to swim.
Hable con un amigo para que me hiciera el favor de llevarnos y me cobro súper barato,y en la tarde del viernes nos fuimos. Al llegar al edificio fue un momento muy bonito es nuestra primera vez que salimos en familia para pasar un rato distinto. Los niños al llegar a la recepción del hotel estaban felices desde ahí se podía ver la piscina.
I talked to a friend who did me the favor of taking us and he charged me super cheap, and on Friday afternoon we left. Arriving at the building was a very nice moment, it was the first time we went out as a family to spend a different time. The children were happy when we arrived at the hotel reception and from there we could see the swimming pool.
Al llegar al apartamento lo primero que te impresiona es la tremenda vista que tienes desde allí.
When you arrive at the apartment the first thing that impresses you is the tremendous view you have from there.
la vista desde la ventana del edificio es simplemente espectacular.
the view from the window of the building is simply spectacular.
Acomodamos todas las cosas que llevamos como la comida y la ropa y nos pusimos nuestros trajes de baños y bajamos esa tarde a la piscina.
We packed up all the things we brought with us like food and clothes and put on our bathing suits and went down to the pool that afternoon.
Los niños al principio tenían algo de miedo de estar en la piscina, pues es una piscina para adultos, pero con ayuda de los flotadores, se sentían más seguros y también al estar cerca de papá, yo por mi parte me dedique a capturar este lindo momento.
The kids were a little scared to be in the pool at first, because it is a pool for adults, but with the help of the floats, they felt safer and also being close to daddy, I for my part dedicated myself to capture this beautiful moment.
Para lorelei, fue más fácil soltarse en el agua con su flotador se sentía segura.
For lorelei, it was easier to let go in the water with her float, she felt safe.
Y rápidamente comenzó a chapalear. como toda una experta.
And she quickly began to splash around like an expert.
y aunque mi príncipe chiquito le costo un poco más ya al rato estaba suelto en el agua.
And although my little prince had a little more trouble, he was in the water after a while.
Luego como la mamarazzi que soy los saque del agua para tomarles unas lindas fotos.
Then like the mamarazzi that I am I pulled them out of the water to take some nice pictures.
Al subir en la noche al apartamento consentimos a estos niños con una noche de Pizza.
When we went up to the apartment in the evening we spoiled these children with a Pizza night.
Al día siguiente nos despertamos emocionados pues los niños tendrían su primera vez en la playa, y yo estaba lista para tomar foticos lindas que me quedarían para el recuerdo.
The next day we woke up excited because the kids would have their first time at the beach, and I was ready to take some nice pictures that I would keep as memories.
Una amiga me recomendó una playa que se llama los cocos muy popular porque es ideal para los niños no tiene casi olas y bastante bajito el nivel del agua, y por ser la primera vez me gusto esa opción.
A friend recommended me a beach called Los Cocos, very popular because it is ideal for children, it has almost no waves and the water level is quite low, and for being the first time I liked that option.
Llegamos al lugar le coloque su bloqueador a los niños que estaban desesperados por meterse al agua.
We arrived at the site and I gave the children, who were desperate to get into the water, their sunscreen.
Juan Andrés se mostraba feliz y tranquilo por todas las cualidades de esta playa.
Juan Andrés was happy and calm because of all the qualities of this beach.
Lorelei al principio se metió con un poco de miedo.
Lorelei at first went in with some trepidation.
Pero luego se mostró feliz
But then he was happy.
y al rato parecía un pecesito en el agua.
and after a while it looked like a little fish in the water.
Verlos descubrir este momento como mamá fue muy bonito.
Watching them discover this moment as a mom was beautiful.
La pasamos tan bien que mi esposo me agradeció, el que me atreviera a organizar este viaje, ambos nos sentíamos felices por los niños.
We had such a good time that my husband thanked me for daring to organize this trip, we were both happy for the children.
Regresamos al apartamento y nos zambullimos una vez más en la piscina. pasamos la noche allí, y al otro día de regreso a la realidad en caracas, mi niño se puso a llorar porque no quería regresar a casa después de ese maravilloso fin de semana. hablamos con el que debíamos regresar a nuestro hogar y termino entendiendo.
We went back to the apartment and dived into the pool one more time. we spent the night there, and the next day back to reality in caracas, my child started crying because he didn't want to go home after that wonderful weekend. we talked to him that we had to go home and he ended up understanding.
Pasar este tiempo en familia, disfrutando fue muy bonito y especial para nosotros, estas pequeñas vacaciones en familia, estoy segura serán inolvidable para todos.
Spending this time as a family, enjoying ourselves was very nice and special for us, this little family vacation, I am sure, will be unforgettable for all of us.
Ahora en adelante buscare seguir teniendo estas bonitas experiencia con mis hijos y esposo, ya que este fin de semana fue maravillo y deseo seguir teniendo estas bonitas experiencias con ellos.
From now on I will look forward to continue having these beautiful experiences with my children and husband, since this weekend was wonderful and I want to continue having these beautiful experiences with them.
