Greetings #Motherhood bees!
I am writing this article today because of the way the school situation of our children is perceived in these hostile times. The new year was supposed to bring transformation, a new era. With that idea I woke up at the beginning of the week and prepared my children to go to school, with the joy that they inspired in me, due to the enthusiasm that the idea of going back to school with their classmates and their teacher generates in them.

Their disappointed faces activated in me an emergency plan to brighten up the moment, maybe distract their attention to other activities that generate satisfaction, although as moms and dads we know that "saying it" and "achieving it" are two different things, with children you never know, they know what is happening around them and this can affect them, positively or negatively, so I began to set the stage, the first thing that came to my mind was to set up their study space, which translates into homework at home!
I managed to remember that, due to the pandemic in 2020, a distance education program called "every family a school" was promoted, students received video classes through social networks (moments in which I am more grateful than ever for the evolution of humanity and the use of technology). Although I will not deny that it was a very complicated process, it finally helped to receive all the classes and continue in the learning process. Sure, we had more work to do, but we got through it!
This time I tried to use this method of studying at home, I took advantage of the time to teach the letters I didn't know yet to Reison, my six year old son who is already learning to read... in just one week he evolved "a million" (very fast), he already reads short sentences, he went from the letters directly to the sentences, without going through the sounds, as if he already knew it. It is a relief to know that she has intelligence. And Eileen, my 8 year old, as perceptive as she is, sometimes I think she is teaching me (hahaha). They are seriously good kids. I miss my oldest son very much, he is spending some time with his paternal grandmother.
Being a mother has not been particularly easy for me, I have had to be a teacher, nurse, psychologist, cook, seamstress, playmate, even a party clown (hahaha), and "stop counting", I know I am not the only one who goes through that, seriously it can be exhausting, especially in these times of change of era, transformation, progress of science, technology. Sometimes you go to explain something to your son, but in the end he ends up explaining it to you. That's the way it is.
This task is complemented with other recreational activities, walks, games; there is no day that the process stops, we keep in constant movement and evolution. I know I am not perfect, but I refuse to let myself be dragged down by the current, I refuse to allow negative factors to affect the development of my little ones. I only wish to see them smile, always, to take away from them the situation that the country is going through, at least while they are children, that little by little they learn to excel, to not let themselves be drowned by obstacles. As the saying goes: "it is a battle against a thousand demons, but we have to win it", our children deserve it.

Sus caritas de decepción activaron en mí un plan de emergencia para alegrarles el momento, tal vez distraer su atención hacia otras actividades que les generen satisfacción, aunque como mamás y papás sabemos que “decirlo” y “lograrlo” son dos cosas diferentes, con los niños nunca se sabe, ellos saben lo que ocurre a su alrededor y esto puede afectarles, positiva o negativamente, así que comencé a preparar el escenario, lo primero que se me ocurrió fue armarles su espacio de estudio, lo que se traduce en ¡Tareas en casa!
Logré recordar que, por motivos de la pandemia en 2020, se impulsó un programa educativo a distancia denominado “cada familia una escuela”, los alumnos recibían clases en videos a través de las redes sociales (momentos en los que agradezco más que nunca la evolución de la humanidad y el uso de la tecnología). Aunque no voy a negar que fue un proceso muy complicado, finalmente ayudó a recibir todas las clases y seguir en el proceso de aprendizaje. Claro que tuvimos más trabajo, pero ¡salimos adelante!
Esta vez traté de usar ese método de estudiar en casa, aproveché el tiempo para enseñar las letras que aún no sabía a Reison, mi hijo de seis años quien ya está aprendiendo a leer… en tan sólo una semana evolucionó “a millón” (muy rápido), ya lee frases cortas, pasó de las letras directo a las frases, sin pasar por los sonidos, como si ya lo supiera. Es un alivio saber que posee inteligencia. Y Eileen, mi niña de 8 años, con lo perspicaz que es, a veces creo que ella me está enseñando a mí (jajaja). En serio son buenos niños. Extraño mucho a mi hijo mayor, él está pasando un tiempo con su abuela paterna.
Ser madre no ha sido particularmente fácil para mí, me ha tocado ser maestra, enfermera, psicólogo, cocinera, costurera, amiguita de juegos, ¡hasta payasa de fiestas! (jajaja), y “pare usted de contar”, sé que no soy la única que pasa por eso, en serio puede ser agotador, sobre todo en estos tiempos de cambio de era, transformación, progreso de la ciencia, la tecnología. En ocasiones vas a explicarle algo a tu hijo, pero al final termina él explicándote a ti. Así son las cosas.
Esta tarea se complementa con otras actividades recreativas, paseos, juegos; No hay día que se detenga el proceso, nos mantenemos en constante movimiento y evolución. Sé que no soy perfecta, pero me niego a dejarme arrastrar por la corriente, me niego a permitir que los factores negativos afecten el desarrollo de mis pequeños. Sólo deseo verlos sonreír, siempre, apartar de ellos la situación que vive el país, al menos mientras son niños, que poco a poco vayan aprendiendo a sobresalir, a no dejarse ahogar por los obstáculos. Como dice el dicho: “es una batalla contra mil demonios, pero tenemos que ganarla”, nuestros retoños lo merecen.

Sorry for this incident. You shouldn't loose drafts, if you did there is likely bug somewhere. Could you please share what device and OS versions? Any other info, So we can check and find out what causing issue...
