Hi there #FungiLovers, today I want to share with you how "hard" it was for me to go for a 12km walk with other people...as a Fungi Lover 😄🍄😄

Днес искам да ви разкажа колко "трудно" беше за мен на отида на 12км разходка с други хора...като гъбарче 😄🍄😄
Why would it be so hard you think, it just 12km...well, it was not this part. It was the part that we went as part of an organized hike on a trail we never been before (great,) but apparantly people were there just for a hike 😂 not for a mushroom hunt! 🍄👀 The location we went is between two beach resorts - Kranevo and Golden Sands, near Varna, #Bulgaria and it is in nature park "Zlatni Pyasatsi" https://www.parkzlatnipiasaci.com/, protected since 1943. The hike as noted on the sign about 270min walk, not very hard just few hills to get to the flat, easy trail I would say. We were 7 people total and apparantly were there to get this trail done in a certain time...no one said it but the way they moved made me think "Wow, these guys are enjoying Nature really fast" 😄🏎️ I was moving along in the beginning and we even started chating a little bit and stopped to check a nice view and look at the autumn crocuses.
Защо пък ще е толкова трудно, си мислите, само 12км са все пак...ами, не това беше трудната част. Беше частта, че бяхме част от организиран поход, на ново място (това чудно), но очевидно хората бяха там само за похода 😂 не да берат гъби!Мястото се намира между курортите Кранево и Златни пясъци, до Варна и е в Природен парк "Златни Пясъци", защитен от 1943г. Маршрутът е 270мин пеша, не много труден, няколко хълчета за изкачване докато се стигне на равно, лесен маршрут бих казала. Бяхме 7 човека и очевидно бяха там, за да завършат похода за определено време...никой не го каза, но това което си помислих е "Еха, тези колко бързо се наслаждават на Природата" 😄🏎️ Аз се движих с всички в началото, даже се заприказвахме и спряхме на място с прекрасна гледка и есенни минзухари.
All good...and then what do I see ...mushrooms. And what do I do...stop, of course 😄 what do the rest do...keep walking. Decision time- should I keep up with the group or take pictures of the mushrooms and catch up...I'll catch up, how fast they can be 😏 So I pull out the phone and make some images of the Tricholoma terreum, or as we call it Миша гъба, translated Mouse mushroom, guess why?! 😊
Всичко добре....и после какво виждам аз...гъби. И какво правя....спирам, разбира се 😄 какво правят другите...продължават да вървят. Време за решение - да вървя с групата или да поснимам малко гъби и после ще ги настигна...Ще ги настигна, колко бързи да са 😏 Та, вадя телефона и правя няколко снимки на Tricholoma terreum, или Миша гъба, познайте защо?!😊
You guessed right - because their cap looks like mouse fur ...and they were sooo many, the last picture kind of shows but not really well how covered is the ground with these. In the past people used to eat them, and probably some still do buuuut some newer researches recommend avoiding it and found toxins that cause rhabdomyolysis...as awful disease as it sounds. I have never tried to eat this mushroom. Have any of you? ...Meanwhile, while I am taking my time with the msuhrooms, the group turned out is way ahead, so we (me and hubby, no kids, no dogs this time 😏) start walking really fast so we can catch them...but my eyes cannot keep looking straight on the trail 👀. I am constantly looking for mushrooms, I've never been to this place, it is fall ...I mean how can I rush myself here...well I had to, we were part of a group. 🙂We caught up in a while, and theeeen....
Познахте - защото шапчиците им изглеждат и се усещат като миша козина....и бяха толкова много, последната снимка горе долу улавя, но не точно как цялата земя беше покрита с тези. Преди хората са ги яли, и някои може и още да го прави, ноооо скорошни открития предлагат да я избягваме и са открили токсини които могат да доведат до синдром на рабдомиолиза...толкова неприятна болест, колкото и звучи. Аз никога не съм яла такива гъби. Някой от вас да е пробвал?...Междувременно, докато аз си снимам гъбите, се оказа, че групата е доста напред, така че ние (аз и мъжо, без деца, без кучета този път😏) започваме да вървим много бързо, за да ги настигнем....ноо очите ми не могат да гледат пътеката 👀 аз постоянно се оглеждам за гъби, никога не съм била на това място, есен...как да бързам значи...еми, трябваше, бяхме част от група. 🙂 Настигнахме ги след малко и послеееее....
What is it?!? Is it Agaricus arvensis or Agaricus moelleri but its not yellow at the stem...I don't know...no time to take my phone, check with the app, wonder which one it might be, I am still learning, so I take my time with the mushrooms...no time this time, girl...you are behind again 😄
Каква е тази гъба?!? Ливадна печурка или Мьолерова печурка, но не жълтее в основата...не знам...нямам време да си вадя телефона, да проверя приложението, да се почудя коя може да е, още се уча така, че отдавам им време на гъбките... няма време този път, момиче...пак изостана 😄
I do my best to keep up but also keep exploring the mushrooms along the trail, so I see these 2 old buddies, I grab one and I pretty much make my images walking. I think it is old **Infundibulicybe geotropa** Where are those people going, why are they not enjoying around, these are the mushrooms on the trail, whats happening IN the forest 🤔🙄😵...nevermind brain, keep walking, gotta go ...and you don't know where the right turn is, soooo... 🏃♀️ oh, wait Coprinopsis picacea isn't she cute 😍...oh and an old Pleurotus ostreatus, one hiding in the trunk, and just the underside of Lepista nuda, I think?!?...the other images were just too blurry.
Та, давам най-доброто от себе си да съм в крак с групата, но и да продължавам да изследвам гъбите наоколо, така че виждам тези 2 стари дружки, грабвам едната и й правя снимки, кажи речи, ходейки. Мисля, че е стара Едра Орешарка. Къде отиват тия хора, защо не се радват на заобикалящото, това са гъбите на пътеката, какво ли става В гората🤔🙄😵...няма значение мозък, продължавай да вървиш, трябва да ходим...пък и не знаеш къде е правилния завой, таааа...🏃♀️ опаа, чакай малко Пъстра копринка, не е ли сладка 😍...А, и една стара Кладница, една се крие и в дънера, и само долната страна на една Обикновена Виолетка, май?!..другите снимки бяха много размазани.
At one moment someone said we passed 8km, so I thought we might stop for a break or something...food, water...nope, keep walking...well , we left them walk. At this point (lunch) we haven't had any food, since we left the house without breakfast but had some things prepared in our backpack, with the hope that we might stop somewhere along at one of the places created for rest and I don't know...enjoy our Saturday in the Nature. So we stopped for like 5 minutes for water and some food...and a picture or two of this tree beauty 🙄 maybe shaggy bracket, Inonotus hispidus, stood out beautiful on the dark bark.
В един момент някой каза, че сме минали 8км, та си помислих, че може да спрем за кратка почивка или нещо...храна, вода...нямаа, ще вървиш...да ама не, оставихме ги да вървят. На този етап (обяд), ние още нищо не бяхме хапвали, тръгнахме без закуска от вкъщи, но с приготвена раница и с надеждата, че може би ще спрем на едно от прекрасните, създадени места за почивка и от къде да знам...ще се Насладим на съботата си в Природата. Та, ние спряхме за цели 5 минути за малко вода и храна...и за една, две снимки на тази красавица на дървото🙄 Може би Inonotus hispidus, няма си име на български, изпъкваше прекрасно на тази тъмна кора.
After our quick break, we ran a little bit to catch up...I am all the time thinking what am I missing 😄 as mushrooms you know. We caught up everyone and after a little bit we came on an concrete trail, and after a bit more we ended up in the beggining of the trail. So we made a big circle, somehow. The only thing in my mind is - I am definitely coming back here this time for mushrooms 😂 I mentioned in the beggining the trail is close to two summer resorts, Kranevo is one of them. It used to be small village that had few big buildings for kids camps from Russia and Belarus. Now, I think the kids camps from Russia are still coming, definitely a lot of Russian tourists are visiting, some from Germany and many from Romania, the last years. Since we were so close to the beach we had to stop by, and when we do I have to try the water. It is refreshing, especially after 12km. Bunch of jelly fishes are washed on the coast and we just had to see how heavy is the biggest one...we ain't checking it when she is alive, so better take the chance. The beach was almost empty but our hearts wer full. Even though I had to rush all the time during the hike I really enjoyed it. I am verry happy we went, because now I know a new place to look for mushrooms and it is not too hard for kids, so next time I am taking the familia.
След бързата ни почивка, побягахме малко за да настигнем другите....аз през цялото време мисля, какво ли пропускам 😂 спрямо гъби, нали се сещате. Настигнахме ги и след малко се озовахме на асфалтов път, а още малко след това и до началото на пътеката. Значи сме направили голям кръг, някак си. Единственото нещо в главата ми е - Със сигурност ще дойда тук пак, ама за гъби този път 😂 Споменах в началото, че маршрутът е близо до два от курортите ни, единият е Кранево. Навремето беше малко село, с няколко по-големи сгради за детските лагери от Русия и Беларус. Сега, мисля че детските лагери от Русия, все още идват, има си и доста руски туристи, някои германци и повечко от Румъния, последните години.След като сме толкова близо до морето няма как да не го посетим, и да не пробвам водата. Освежаваща е, особено след 12км. Имаше доста медузи на брега, и просто нямаше как да не видим колко тежи най-голямата...така де жива няма да се пробваме, та сега ни е шанса. Плажът беше почти празен, а нашите сърца много пълни. Въпреки, че трябваше да бързам през цялата разходка, много ми хареса. Много се радвам, че отидохме защото сега знам ново място за гъби, което е достъпно и за деца. Така, че другият път вземам цялата фамилия.
Are you still with me?!? It's long I know but now you know why it was "hard" for me to go just for a walk...once Fungi Lover, always a Fungi Lover. One can't just go for a walk in the woods anymore, or to run trough the forest... there are mushrooms to be seen, explоred, collected, pictured, admired along the way, so it was hard ...but I made it. Още ли сте с мен?!? Много е дълго, знам но сега знаете защо ми беше "трудно" само да ходя...един път зарибиш ли се за гъби, завинаги зарибен или загъбен хахаха. Такъв човек не може просто да отиде на разходка в гората вече, или да бяга през гората... има гъби да се видят, да се изучат, съберат, заснемат, да им се насладят по пътя, така че трудно си беше...но успях. Yeah I would struggle there as well, if I go for a walk I like to go at my own pace and stop as often as I need to. For me being out in nature, is all about observation and having the opportunity to really explore. I never go on organized treks usually, done one so far and that was in Peru.

I went once on an organized trek with friend 3 or 4 years ago...more than 100 people showed up. Even though I was happy to see so many people in all ages to go out in the Nature my brain was just like " yep, we ain' t doing this again" ...and this time was confirm ...not for us 😄 Thank you for stopping by

Ahh, so beautiful, @didivelikova !! I feel like I was with you on this glorious mushroom walk... My family also like to stop and look at mushrooms and other interesting things, so I love going home to Scotland to do big long rambling walks with them - it's a profound pleasure to find the funghi and maybe take off my wooly hat and fill it with them for dinner :-D I'm still learning mushrooms locally in Italy, so am not as confident, and I appreciate very much seeing others' learning paths, and learning alongside them.

Do you visit Ireland often? I always wanted to go there for a little bit...in the summer or which is th ebest season? And in Italy I have friends that shared few weeks ago their find of Parasol mushrooms. I love the fungi world, it is so vast, so as you I am still learning and I really like the posts here, they help me learn a lot. It will be great to see what mushrooms you see in Italy or in Scotland 🙂

Scotland! But yes, the best season for me to visit Scotland or Ireland is autumn, when the mushrooms are at their best, for sure!
And WOOHOO to your Italian friends finding parasol mushrooms: yum! I found a lot last year (in the photo above), but this year haven't successfully coordinated a trip yet for mushrooming - I went up the hill but think many folks had been there before and hoovered up all the funghi - boo! Haha!
