Make sure to check the pattern of the gills. They have a distinct pattern hence the name splitgill.

From what I can see of the gills peaking out they are splitgill. But its always good to be sure.
Yes, you are right, is better to be sure because I know some of them can be poisonous
Fortunately with these there aren't any poisonous lookalike but you might end up with something that tastes like wood if it happens to be a different polypore mushroom lol.
