The tiny split gills are actually edible and can store quite easily since they are usually dried out. Just soak them a while in water and they will rehydrate.

Make sure to check the pattern of the gills. They have a distinct pattern hence the name splitgill.

From what I can see of the gills peaking out they are splitgill. But its always good to be sure.
Yes, you are right, is better to be sure because I know some of them can be poisonous
