I am feeling better. Thank you very much for asking.
I've got about a year left before my body stabilizes. Got part of my spine fixed in March and I've been in my sons' karate class now for a couple of weeks. It's been good pain, especially since the kids are more motivated now that daddy is joining in on the "fun". Not sure yet how I feel about getting beaten up by high school graduates, but at the end of each class my body gets a little looser and easier to control.
Haha sounds like a fun way to get back in shape, hope there's no Mike Tyson's or Dwayne Johnson highschoolers there. :D
Except that there are LOL 😆. I was powned religiously by some kid that just got out of high school. Perhaps, I'm making it out more than it is, but these kids have infinite energy during training. However, each day gets a little easier as my body gets stronger.
The first couple of months really sucked after surgery. Now, I'm sore in the morning, but it's not so bad. I used to drink all the time reaching for a bottle each time I went to the store. Now, I walk past the alcohol and it doesn't even phase me.
The effort and pain are worth the improvement in life that follows.
